hi all, it's snowing!!!
i've just applied to join the wooligans yahoo group, what a good idea! My OH laffed and said we should find a picture of some nervous looking sheep as our emblem lol!!
mioliere, are we due a new running totals update? i'll do it but I wasn't sure if it had been decided not to do them in the thread on not as we don't seem to have done one for a couple of days?

As we're not too far from the end of completing two blankets for HTA I thought it might be an idea if people could guestimate how many more they can make with the wool they have available to save anyone going out to buy it specially as we might have enough already between us

I have enough red/dark pink here to complete around 3 more squares. The rest are shades of blue/lilac/purple/cream etc so I will use those to make more squares for Smoky and her children

I'm not sure how it would work (if we all need to add our square numbers, or one person copy in your list for each person) I haven't done this on yahoo groups but we shall work it out

Good idea. I'm not doing any for HTA atm as I'm away for the weekend and took wool for Smokey's blanket not reds, but by tonight I hope to have 2 more done for Smokey. Then I've got a busy week (and requests from my sister for 2 scarves!) so I shall do squares again next weekend. I've lots and lots of red DK wool- so I shall check then if we're doing 8 or 7 inch squares.

LAINEY - I hadn't done a another update - every time I've started doing it today, I've been interrupted! I'm so glad you've done it. Thanks very much. I'll update my sig. As JELLYBEANS has said, Naomi has put two databases on for the count but, as yet I don't know how it works. I shall have a look later on; it'll be easier that way but I'll still keep one going here and update my sig for those who don't join the Yahoo group. I'll have more time tomorrow to study the group and see exactly how it operates so we can all make the most of it! I think it's going to be perfect for us. We have ten members already, which is great!

Many thanks for the squares all of you have done since my update yesterday. I haven't had time to knit today but I intend to tonight!

Hi All,

I haven't drop in much this weekend, been slaving in the kitchen. No, not cooking as I'd like but building cupboards! Anyway just wanted to update my figures. My HTA squares total will not change as I have used all of my warm colours now but I've managed three more squares for Smoky making 19. I'm really getting through the wool! But it's good as I had lots of half balls.
I've really got the knitting bug back. I ordered a load of wool last night to make a jumper for my youngest, I've only had the pattern 2 years! Oops. The kids are also nagging me to make them a blanket as they have been enthused by the squares I've made. Unfortunately they want one each! I told them they had to share one as it would take me ages to knit three.

My productivity may suffer from now on as the kids go back to school on Tuesday which means I turn back into a blue bottomed fly! Three school runs a day and sports six days a week! I may be too tired to knit to my current productivity rate, we shall see.

Keep up the good knitting!
