Good morning. I have just completed 3 squares now. Not quite worked out who they are for, but they are all in shades of red/orange/burgundy. I think that means they are for HTA but not sure yet. Still a little confused. Joined Wooligans this morning I hope. Do we still need reds or should I go onto random colours? I have about 2 sacks of wool I can work through!! Indeed if there is anyone near me in Ashford, Kent who needs wool pm me!Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.0

Hi, there! I've done 2 squares for the smokelets. Can you add them in?
Thanks, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Thanls, CATZ! Thanks for joining the Wooligans.
DEE - all the colours you have mentioned are ideal for the HTA blankets. If you read the very first post on here, all the info and the addresses are there. Thanks for joining the Wooligans.
I shall go right now and 'approve' the latest applications to join the Wooligans and, a bit later, I shall try and do another update, using the last list that the lovely LAINEY drew up, and put the numbers on the database on Yahoo. It looks to me as if we can all just update both the databases as and when we each complete another square.I also think we must be very close to completing the second HTA blanket and we are also well on our way on the first blanket for Smoky's children. Can you believe this whole thing only started on 15th March, just over three weeks ago?!! I'm stunned and amazed!
Thanks everyone and I hope you understand that I am learning about Yahoo as I go along and haven't quite got to grips with it yet!
See you all later.

Thanks for the link. Will give it a go later again later on, hopefully i will be able to crack it!!PinkPunkBird

Hi all, sorry i haven't been on as ive been away for a week and hasn't this thread grown!!
As i was away i have only completed the one square and just popped it in the post. I should have gone back and caught up before i did, i think i may have made a mistake. My square does measure 8 inchs (well very close to it) but i knitted it in arran as that was what i found lurking in the cupboard.
I will look for the proper stuff later before i start another one. Well done everyone on your efforts, makes me feel a little inadequate but i guess my other activities must be slowing me down a tad!! lol
Take care all .. I had better wait till lunch time before i try to catch up on the full thread or my boss may be a little unhappy!!!!0 -
Patches - don't you dare feel inadequate! Every single square is welcome and just as important. This thread has indeed grown, which has completely taken me by surprise. As you have been away, you'll have missed some of the developments so, first of all, if you go back to the very first post on this thread, it has been edited to include all the 'guidelines' and info, such as addresses for sending the squares, sizes, etc. It may help to print it off and keep it to hand. Secondly, ARTYSTITCHES aka Naomi of Operation Elderly Charity Stitchers has given us so much help and advice and yesterday she even created our very own Yahoo group dedicated to the Wooligans! Here is the link - please apply to join! http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/Wooligan/
This thread will continue to run; also, on the previous page you will find LainyStardust's latest running total but I think we have even more to add now, which I will try and do a bit later on today!
