I may have some (but will only be able to post in a weeks time when I get back to my house as it's there!) I think I have black cotton DK, or 100% acrylic, or a wool acrylic mix (but not sure how much of what!)- which type do you prefer?

Sorry naomi I couldnt find any black, I have loads of fuzzy stuff in black but the only plain DK I can find is a tiny bit of tapestry wool.
I will pop in to the charity shop tomorrow when I go shopping and see if they have any.

Hi everyone, I'm a bit confused, I've been away for a week and reading through the threads it seems that there are enough squares for Smokie's blanket. I was about to post mine today(6) then wondered if I should. I have 14 squares in total. I have the addresses but not sure if they are needed for smokie.

hi beethebee, hope you had a nice break?
we have got enough for Smokybabes blanket but Whatatwit suggested that we could make smaller blankies for her children.35 squares for each blankie, we have 26 so far. She has a girl and two boys so folk have been kindly knitting in appropriate colours & the same size as before ,8" square. Just send all your squares to me,I'll pm you my address, and I'll sew them up.

I have just done it and cant understand it at all. Cant find the photos,nor the updated list,it wont let me change my ID and goodness knows how I ended up with my real name,obviously I did something wrong:mad: all this techno stuff I get so annoyed with myself for making such a hash of it all :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

Right thats it I`m going to do some knitting to calm myself down ,that always works.Might have a :beer: as well, mmmmmm sounds like a plan.


Think perhaps I am tired didnt get much sleep last night, have a frozen shoulder and its a real nuisance(to say nothing of painful)

No squares for me today, had a long day at work and just wrapped untold amounts of ebay parcels to post tomorrow. Just wanted to let you know my Smoky squares are going in the post tomorrow as promised.

Well, off to do a bit more crocheting - I aim to get my squares in the post to you, Lainey, by Thursday to make sure they get there for Monday. You are a true angel, doing all this sewing up!
