    Morning all,

Need to nip into town this morning, and just thought that I dont know what size crochet hook you are using, could anyone let me know please?

Market day tomorrow (unless the snow we are supposed to begetting puts them off) wool stall has some nice colours that would be great for the squares.

OH is at work all weekend so i should be able to get some projects finished.

I'm using size 2.0. It allows for nice little stitches. I have done some with a size 3.0 too. HTH.

Wow, everything is moving so fast on here! I intend to do an update and to read all the latest posts but time has run away with me this morning and I will get back to you this afternoon! PIPPA - your squares are BEAUTIFUL!!

    PINK - I'm using a 4 crochet hook, too.

GINGHAM - well done so far! When I post the Wooligans' Guidelines later I shall stress that 40 stitches does not look like 8" worth when it's just been cast on!

JELLYBEANS - would you be able to post a pic of your squares so that Lainy Stardust can see if the wool is suitable?
    R.MAC - thanks for posting Pippa's pics!

CHOC ORANGE - will be updating later to include yours.

ARTYSTITCHES - thanks for the update and for letting us know that this thread now has a baby to look forward to! When are you due? Hope you are keeping well and that we are not inundating you with work.

I must go but will come back later on with updates, guidelines and so on. Hope everyone is enjoying the lovely sunshine we have here!

    Afternoon All,

Didn't get any knitting done yesterday as was ebaying like crazy and I mean crazy! Got 110 auctions on and did a full day at the office!

Did count the squares I have done for Smoky though as was tidying my knitting bag and I think I may have done a little faux par! I have 14 squares in the bag so I must have only sent 15 to OECS! Woops.

Please amend my figures to show 15 and 14 respectively as shown in my sig.

    Thanks

If my hands recover from all the typing should get some squares done tonight but don't hold me to it!

  • Hi Kathy,

No you are not inundating me lol, it keeps me busy.

I am due on 21st May, so not long to go now i am expecting a boy i can't wait to see him :j

Your list seems to be getting quite big maybe you could set up a board especially for wooligans so you can organise things and keep track of things easily if you find the list getting to big. I am a dab hand at that sort of thing if you ever want me to help out on that for you.

The weather has been so nice the last few days ideal for sitting outside with a bit of knitting or crochet.

    Have a good weekend

Hi there - I have finally found the time to sit down. I have had the most manic day and all I really want to do is knit!

Anyway, NAOMI - not long until the baby's born, is it? Is it your first? I have two sons, now grown-up with homes of their own, and two beautiful grandchildren, a boy and a girl, who bring me such joy; I couldn't imagine life without them. I do hope you keep us up to date with progress.

I'd be interested in setting up a board - I don't know anything about things like that so would appreciate your advice, thanks. Meanwhile, SEAKAY'S suggestion is good and I'll post back on #1 now with the guidelines and running totals. Thanks, SEAKAY!

SARAHPECK - I shall update the total and my sig re your squares.

PIGPEN - please don't cause yourself pain doing the squares; as much as you want to carry on, you'll need your hands for the rest of your life!

JELLYBEANS - your squares look wonderful; I'm sure the wool is fine - lovely choice of colours and beautifully knitted!

Right - for WOOLIGANS GUIDELINES - please refer to post #1 of this thread!
