Make that 1 more! I have just finished a ginger/caramel coloured 8" one for HTA/OEC and I've cast on another in a purply pink colour! This is amazing how fast the number has gone up isn't it? Something I am really proud to be a part of!:D

and now this was under my nose all the time. I'm snowed under by work at the moment but I might consider getting the needles out....

DOGROSE - yes, we are all frantically knitting away and really enjoying it! The thread has only been going a couple of weeks and, if you look at my sig and Lainey's post from yesterday, you'll see how many squares we have achieved. I still can't believe it hoiw much time and effort has been put into this, as well as a lot of brilliant ideas.

WHATATWIT has just had the most brilliant idea for what to do with any extra squares once Smoky's blanket is finished and that is to make smaller blankets for Smoky's children. I think it's the perfect idea. LAINEY - I don't expect you to sew those as well. People can pm for details and I will sew them up. Smoky's children are also sharing her sadness and I think it would bring enormous comfort to them to each have their own blanket. Thanks, WHATATWIT, for such a good idea.
