Hi all - will update later so thanks for your new contributions Shez and C1aire!

Claire - it's good to see you posting again! I shall add your blanket when I update later.

Shez - thanks for the cardie - will add that later, too.

I shall say Happy Holiday to Pippa.S even though she was leaving at 5am this morning. She's probably on the plane right now!

I shall be staying with my Mum next week (Sun to Thurs eve) so will get lots of knitting done but will have no access to the internet unless she suddenly gets the urge to get a computer and internet arranged by next Sunday! I shall be in Chippenham, Wiltshire, but have no idea if there is an internet cafe there. I know I shall also be going to Wootton Bassett, Melksham and Trowbridge while I'm away (because Mum has a list of places with great charity and wool shops!) so shall keep my eyes peeled for an internet cafe and try and catch up with you all then.

I'll look in again later and update - I have a couple more IS hats to add to my total.

    Kathy

Hi, sorry I haven't updated in so long, the move didn't go as well as planned and I'm living out of boxes at the moment ...

Can you add another 28 smoothie hats to my total please (130 in total)? I got them in the post today and I managed to get a few photos of them so I'll try and get them up somewhere. I did take some photos of the original 102 but all I can say at the moment is that OHs camera in a box somewhere ...

Just posted my IS hats today - 9 in total. A feeble effort next to some of yours, but I like to think I helped in a small way.

I have also done two STC hats and I may get a third done before the closing date of 21st.

After that, I have a confession to make. :o I discovered a half-knitted jumper that I started for DS. After checking the pattern and counting the stitches, I worked out that it is for a 22" chest, so I suppose for a 3-4 year-old. DS was 13 last week. So I guess it won't fit him then?

Fortunately I have two nephews that it can be finished off for. Oh well...a 10-year labour of love. :rotfl: I have no excuse to offer, I just got bored of knitting. Hopefully I will finish it off before my present interest wears off.
