    Wow, M

Thanks for starting this one off. Well, too much happening here at the moment but will get back when I can do some squares - 4 x 4 (like the tiles I have been stressing out for 2 weeks!!!!) I picked them up today and I think I am a happy Easter Bunny!

Hi proud to be a Wooligan.

    I have one square completed.

Now I am going to really stick my head on the block. I must have missed something somewhere because I have no idea who smokey is. I have been hoping someone else would ask this question so that I wouldn't have to but it appears you all know something I don't.

Bella, I too had no idea who Smoky was, so you're not alone

Really sorry to hear of Smoky's loss. I'm sure she'll really love her blanket. Just a shame that I can't make a mini-meet, as I'd be happy to contribute to it :)

Hi PIPPA - yes, size 8 (4mm) needles, DK yarn and all 'fiery' colours, 8 x 8 knit or crochet and any pattern you want. Once we have 63 squares (between us not each!!) and for anyone who wants to carry on, then OECS will take 7 x 7 inch squares. I've asked everyone to update their sigs with the squares-done-so-far so that we can keep a running total. Thank you so much for joining the Wooligans!

  • Hello! I was ill last night so did 2 more squares (I like knitting garter stitch when I am ill as it is so simple and relaxing) so now a total of 3 squares- I shall try and put it in my sig!

What stitch is best/prefered for knitted squares? Plain garter stitch, stocking stitch or patterns? Or does it not matter?

Have a good weekend everyone :EasterBun
