Hi Shaz - that rings a bell with me, too, though I can't find any reference to it. I should think they'll be fine with or without bobbles. I'm going to vary mine anyway with simple tassels, ribbons and so on; I'm sure they'll be acceptable however they're finished off.

If anyone can shed any light on this question please let us know!

    Thanks

Hello :) Please can you update my total to 102 smoothie hats :D Hooray, I've hit the century lol! (That's 25 more.) I've been 'pom-poming' like a demon all week as we're moving next week and I was desperate to get them finished and posted before we go.

I've taken some pictures so I'll try to get them on either here or the Wooligans site as soon as I can grab OH to tell me the techincal details.

    Hi all!

Maytaurus - thanks for the lovely picture and the link to the teeny tiny toys! They look brilliant, ideal for using up oddments and adding to our knitted items for Loving Hands, and also for stocking fillers. Thanks so much for posting them!

Gingernutmeg - you've done so well! Congratulations on your century! We would love to see photos but only when you've got the time - I know how hectic moving can be! I'll update tomorrow to include your latest totals.

Well, I did a bit of knitting yesterday (I'm making another bunting) but none today because we were pub-lunching with friends and drinking at lunchtime put paid to doing anything constructive for the rest of the day!

Gingernutmeg that's fantastic!!! Well done!!! Puts my 13 hats to shame!

I've given up on the baby blanket. It all went wrong somewhere, not sure how - it was taking forever as well. Hours and hours and hours of work and I was barely 1/5 of the way through. I'm back on IS hats until further notice :)
