Hi Lainey :hello: long time no see, sounds like you have been really busy, one way or another.
Thanks for doing all the sewing up for Smoky and smokelets blankets, it was a mammoth task you took on there but we all appreciate it :T Smoky is posting on the daily again now, but she is finding it tough going poor thing I really feel for her.
Anyway I will let you get on with your readingand decide what to start on next, as Kathy said we have loads to choose from and all that knitting will keep us warm in the winter....well if this summer is anything to go by:rolleyes:

Morning Kathy don`t know why but I feel full of beans this morning, must have been the 1 or 2  glasses of white last night.
Hope you enjoyed your weekend, and found a little time to get your feet up.
Can you update me with 2 buntings and 1 scarf please
I have just looked at all the totals on your sig, and they really are mounting up arent they? If I remember right we set a target for something but I cant think what it was now....but knowing us we have probably passed it already

Hi Pippa - I gave up on targets ages ago because we meet them so quickly! I think it's best if we just knit and knit! The totals are phenomenal, aren't they? I still have to pinch myself when I think that this was just an idea only five months ago! If you have any of those beans to spare send me some! Lately, when we open some wine it sends us to sleep!
I've made a note of your two buntings and scarf and will update later on. I made a bunting at the weekend - they're very easy but so small; it's so sad to think that they need to be made but comforting to the parents that their little soul has something handknitted with care. I also made a vent hat which I found easy, so will do a few more of each because you don't have to concentrate too hard. I did get my feet up yesterday afternoon and most of the evening and still felt tired when I went to bed. It must be my age!
Have a good day and make the most of those beans!

Hello everyone! Not been contributing much as domestic disaster has left me exhausted, but just wanted to let you know that the Innocent Smoothie Help the Aged Campaign is now up and running, and I will be starting on some little hats very soon!
http://www.innocentdrinks.co.uk/thebigknit/
"How can I help?
Last year we raised over £200,000 for Age Concern and this year we’re looking to raise lots lots more. So we’d love your help. All you need to do is knit us a little hat and pop it in the post. We'll do the rest. There are patterns below and lots of incredible hats in our hat of the week gallery for inspiration.
So dust off those needles, grab the nearest sheep and get your wool on (your needles). Please remember to send us your hats by 17th October to: The Big Knit, 1 The Goldhawk Estate, Brackenbury Road W6 0BA. Don't forget to pop us a note on the envelope with your name, address and number of hats knitted.
Happy knitting.
P.S If you’d like us to send you a knitting pack as soon as they’re ready, just drop us an email with your name and address to thebigknit@innocentdrinks.co.uk with ‘Knitting Pack Please’ in the subject line."
I have told Innocent that there is a group knitting who are based on the Money Saving Expert forum, so if you'd like to add that info to your name and address our fame will spread!
Would name, address "for Wooligans at MoneySavingExpert.com", number of hats knitted be appropriate? Or if another form of ID would be better post it up and we can all use the same one0 -
Hi there!
Pippa - thanks for your update - I'll add them later on today! I haven't done any more since my last update because I have been catching up with work (which has been sadly neglected lately!) but I really intend to buckle down over the next couple of days.
Seakay - thanks for the info and for letting us know that the Innocent Smoothie campaign is now up and running. That's great news. I think it's great that you have told them about us - I wouldn't have thought of doing that, so thanks! I think your idea for ID is just right. I will copy and paste your post onto the very first post of this thread to let all newbies know and I'll post it on to the Yahoo group too. Once again, thanks!
