Oh my word, I feel absolutely mortified!!!

I thought I'd posted off my squares to Lainey a few weeks ago but I've just found them under the seat in the car :eek: :eek: :eek: I can't for the life in me think how this happened and I'm absolutely gutted

Am I too late to send them now?

hi chameleon, please don't be mortified , it's ok honestly. I have enough to finish the blankets off now but maybe you could send them to Loving Hands instead, I'm sure they will be able to make use of them. don't be upset with yourself, we all have stuff going on that distracts us now and again, I know I do lol!

Thanks Lainey, I do feel terrible though, and also thank you to those of you who made extra squares to cover my missing ones :A :A

I'll certainly send them off to Loving Hands and hopefully, when I get some free time, start knitting some of those lovely hats that you're all doing now :A

Well, I completed a preemie hat yesterday and will start another one tonight while I'm watching the gorgeous Indie on TV!

Thank you all for what you are doing - we are achieving fantastic totals for everything we are doing. It's great!

hiya

been distracted from the charity knitting this last week/weekend. Instead I managed to get the house in order and do some DIY. It's looking very nice.

I used up some wool and made some mittens, which are very cute and want to try a new preemie baby hat pattern this week, to keep my totals going upwards.

I start full-time work again tomorrow, so hopefully knitting in the evenings will help me relax

R.Mac - good luck gong back to work full time!

PeckedHen - we tend to post on both sites but on this one more that the Yahoo one! I know it's confusing! Most of the photos go on the Yahoo group, though, and I really should put more info on there including the running totals! I will get round to it!

Everyone - I've just looked at the totals for the preemie hats and think I have the wrong amount - would every one just check that I have posted the correct number against their name, please, so that I can do a recount. Sorry about that!
