Hi Pippa - thank you so much for the link to the sheep pattern! He's really cute; I'm going to invest in some good quality wool for it. I am also going to have to order some of the gorgeous wooden sheep buttons! I shall knit a handbag for my future DIL for Christmas as an excuse to use them!

    Many thanks!

    Kathy

Hi mioliere its very nice of you to thank me, but errmm... it was`nt me I`m afraid, it was pink who found it and sent it to you. ;)

Sorry to both Pippa and Pink - but I have needed to thank you both anyway, Pink for the d**k cake (!) recipe and Pippa for the sheep pattern, so, thanks to both of you! You'll have to forgive me - I'm not as young as I used to be lol!

Hi everyone - just wanted to let you know that, if you go into 'mail' on Yahoo, Naomi has posted her good news and there are lots of beautiful photos to gaze at, too!

Hi mioliere Just wanted to post my new totals I have now done

I did manage to do bevs crochet hat with a flower;) I took your advice and used a larger hook, not much larger it is a 4.5mm but it made quite a difference it looks more like a hat now instead of an egg cosy:rolleyes:
I changed it a bit though and did dc between each post and it looks really nice.

Sorry folks - I didn't explain that very well. It's not on the Wooligans' Yahoo site - I found it when I went into my own Yahoo mail account! I could copy and paste it here but I don't like to without her permission. If you log into Yahoo! Mail itself you should find it.Actually, Pink and Pippa - I'll copy and paste and pm each of you - if anyone else would like me to do the same, please pm me! I'll do that now!

Pippa - glad you conquered the 'Bev's hat' problem! I'll update now!

Ooh, I'm on a roll! Two preemie super stretch hats and five ventilator bonnets.

I have two large balls of baby wool, unfortunately it has lost it's bands. How do I tell what ply it is? One is very fine - I thought it might be two ply but there are three strands of wool in it and also three strands in the thicker one???:confused:

The first figures are for the STC (Save the Children) hats and the second is for the (IS) Innocent Smoothie hats which we can do in readiness for the go ahead of Sainsbury's next campaign.
