Hi Lainey - good to hear that you have enough squares now! You must be surrounded by them! What a shame you didn't get to meet Pol; perhaps you can arrange to meet up another time?

Lainey, I'm so pleased that you now have enough squares so you are not held up any more, Wonder if I could turn an 8 " square into a prem hat ;)

I managed to get out yesterday and get some pink, pale blue, yellow, mauve, lilac and a beautiful seagrass green wool so I will now concentrate on the prem hats and the HTA, which reminds me I have 2 HTA to post off.

Kathy : I haven't posted the prem hat I have knitted, I would like to post off 3 or 4 at the same time if that's o.k.

Beth - I sent my Mum's ten hats and my five that I had completed by then all in the same parcel. It works out a lot cheaper than sending them individually. It cost £1.45 or £1.48 (can't remember which, now!) to send them all. I shall wait until I have at least six more before sending the next parcel. I loved your words, by the way; very moving.

Lainey - I quite agree with you! Just think what we could achieve.

Well, I'm off to start another hat!

Lainey so glad to hear you have enough squares to finish all the blankets now. well done everyone:T .

I'll hang on to the extra ones i'd done over the weekend and see if i can add somemore along the way to make up a blanket of my own for somewhere. (glad i read here before going down the postbox this morning;) )

I've been working on a little cardi for loving hands, completed a couple of squares, and done a few rows of DS green blanket square over the weekend. it was lovely sitting out on the park watching the kids playing while i was knitting:D .

feel like i havent done any hats for a while, but i should have some wool left over from the cardi so that will go on hats.

    :hello: :hello: :hello:

    Hello everybody,
Just reporting in, had a lovely weekend playing with my 2 little grand-daughters, so no knitting got done, but lots of cuddles.
They are back home now in West Sussex, oh I do miss them so much:cry:
The house seems empty without them, tidy but empty.

I have picked up the pins again and got cracking on the hats, mioliere I have done 1 ribbed hat and have started another.
Can you put me on the list please:D

just thought i|'d check in. Haven't done any hats for a wee while - hope to start again at the weekend.

Can't believe how the totals are progressing - it's such an amazing thing to see them rising daily.

Lainey - your blankets are looking fabulous!
