Hi Bella - thanks for the update - I will add your latest hat to the running total! I'm glad this is denting your stash - it's great to see spare wool being used up, isn't it? Especially for such a good cause. Thanks again.

Lainey - you must be working so hard on this! I see Tylersbabe's Mum has crocheted 10 squares so I'll ask her if they are 7 or 8" ones. If they are 8", then perhaps she will kindly post them to you. I'll pm her now.

Tylersbabe - I've pm'd you! Thanks for the ten squares and thanks to your lovely Mum!

I have finished the doll I have been making for my niece - in the end I had to put all other projects on hold to make sure it was finished in time; I shall get back on to the hats today!

Hello again everyone

I've got another preemie hat done (now 6), will post them to loving hands tomorrow- I've just taken a photo and put it in the yahoo group. Making hats was a nice change from squares, but I can't do anything too complicated (my brain handles squares best ) I also got 2 7 inch squares for OECS made this weekend.

Lainey if you need more squares in the next week so you can finish Smokey's blankets I can also knit some up and post them at the end of the week- If you get spares left over you could always make yourself a cushion cover with them, or some small blankets for loving hands for babies/animals.

Hi folks , just to let you know that I have put a couple of pics on the yahoo site , 1 is the 1st boys blanket-finished !! I'm quite pleased at how the the 1st blanket has turned out (if I say so myself lol!)
The other pic is the girls blanket, work in progress. I've sewn four strips of 7 so far so just one more strip of 7 and then press and sew the strips together. It doesn't take that long once i get started (if I don't get disturbed by OH and DD that is lol!!).
I would also like to say thanks to the lovely people who have offered to make and send extra squares (pol, tylersbabe's mum and churchmouse) If the ones from Tylersbabe are blue I'll put some of them in the 2nd boy blanket and move the others to Smokys blanket and so on iyswim.
Right, have to go..DD has burnt a bag of micro popcorn and theres smoke everywhere !!! lol...

Well, it's been a funny but busy day today and I will settle down and crochet another hat this evening.

Well mum has crocheted 10 dark blue squares. I will be posting these on Wednesday these are 8" by 8" so will post them as requested.

hi all
i see lots of knitting is still going on:T .

I've done my nieces square and an edging for 2 sides so planning one sewing it together as a shawl.
I've just started the green square for my DS so hes a happy bunny;) .

Then im going to crack on with using up more of the oddments from my wool stash knitting up some baby bits for loving hands.
