Has everyone given up on this thread as its gone very quiet.

After weigh in on Saturday we took the in laws out to a fish and chip restuarant and had the full works, but was so full had nothing else for rest of day.

Yesterday went to my mothers and she cooked since I am still unwell. It was a full roast lamb dinner, with prawn cocktail to start and key lime pie (homemade) to finish. But once again so full had nothing else for rest of day.

I dont feel too bad about it as I did not pick and snack my way through the day, and so points should not be too bad.

Back on track today, and really enjoying the Kingsmill crustless at 1/2 point a slice or 2 slices for 1 1/2 points.

    Hi

OH and myself have both been going to WW for 6 weeks now (for 5 we have been really good) but this last week we have started to slip ( we were invited round to friend for the night and had a meal and too much red wine. We had already decided to have a night off so that wasn't too bad but I have eaten a lot of bread this week and not much fruit and veg and haven't written everything down so if I stay the same I'll be happy. Its more that I feel that I've lost control a bit this week.
So tonight we weigh in and I've been to the shops and bought loads of fruit and veg and its back to the cooking from scratch ( I used a few jars and ready meals last week and I know that they are more points and less filling than if I do it myself so onwards and upwards

Good luck to everyone this week

    Hi All,

I'm at work and I couldn't find the thread!

Josey, that all sounds delish and great tip on that crustless bread at 1/2 point.

Well it's day 4 for me now, the meeting went well and my leader is very nice. I'm all stocked up on books and scales and i'm keeping my 'tracker' religiously. I'm eating a lot of the filling foods and really haven't been all that hungry so thats good. So far so good....I'm looking forward to my first weigh in!

I even went out on Saturday night for a birthday and arrived just as they were ordering pudding - you can probably tell from my username its my weakness! But I didnt order one, I did howver have a mouthful of my friends DELICIOUS hot gooey brownie...mmmmm and only one small glass of vino <smug>

Got lots of great value things from Asda and they have their Good For You ready meals at 5 for £4 so I've stocked up for when I'm starving and need food NOW!

    Happy week everyone,

    Puds x
Really should be doing some work...

Could anyone have a guess at how many Weight Watchers points would be in this?

It is an Apricot flapjack, I have been guessing at 4 points.

They are from a local 'Health Food' shop who have a range of their own food.
The ingredients listed for these are -

Porridge Oats, Apricots, Non-Hydrogenated sunflower Margarine, Raw cane sugar, & Golden syrup.

Does anyone agree or am I way out?

I think its more like 6 points if its home made.
I make flapjack for other half, but cannot allow myself to have it as the points are too high.

    Hi all,

I just wanted to say hello. This thread is great and I will be making sure I read this to keep up my motivation.

I joined Weight Watchers on Monday 9th March. I had my first weigh in last week and I lost 6 1/2 lbs.

I would just like to advise that a few of you have mentioned the monthly pass. Whilst this does give you cheaper sessions, it can catch you out sometimes. For example, if you session isnt on due to it being Bank Holiday or over Xmas then you have paid but you miss your session. Ultimately you can lose money. It just depends on your preference.

Keep up all the hard work, it will be worth it in the end!

WOW Penky what a great weight loss and what motivation to keep you on track.

Re Monthly Pass - If the class you go to does not have meetings at bank holidays, or like me miss a couple of classes through ill health or if you are on holiday, just call the number on the card and they will extend your card accordingly, so you dont miss out at all. I have done this a few times and the WW staff are so helpful.

Also one of the tricks with the monthley card is when you first sign up in class, do not register the card on line until a day or so before your next weigh in, as the month does not start until you register on line. This way you get another week near enough free.

Thanks for the advice on the monthly pass - I didnt realise you could do that!

I was so chuffed with that weight loss and it's really spurred me on. I've been out walking/jogging every night this week so I'm aiming for another 3 this week. I know it will slow down though so will ultimately be aiming for 2lbs per week.

I brought a WW pedometer and am suprised at how far I walk in a day. And it's encouraging me to take the stairs at work instead of the lift!

I've lost 4 this week, very happy with that as I have PCOS making losing weight difficult.
