Rice is 3 points for 60g dry weight or 150g when cooked.

I had my second weigh in last night and I lost 1 1/2 lbs. It's great that it's a loss but I was slightly disappointed as I have been walking every night and even built it up to a run for a lot of the way.

I'm not going to let it get me down, I'm going to get back on it today and continue with my exercise. Hopefully it will be slightly more next week although I am happy with 2lbs a week. Would really like to lose 2 stone for my holiday in June!

Well done on your weight loss people!

    HI Tanny

Frustrating isn't it - even though you're losing really well, it's not enough. I get like that even though I know that the weight has to come off slowly to have a better chance of staying off.

Huge pat on the back cos we're all doing really well!

I stayed the same this week, but that was to be expected - so consoled myself with fish and chips on saturday and a 11.5 point bar of chocolate yesterday. Back on track today and will try to be good this week.

Bought and love the new Rhubard and custard sweets (1 point a box) available in class.

Keep up the good work over the Easter period, and dont let eating that Easter egg throw you off course. Enjoy it and then get back with the programme.

    Hi Josey,

Another 3.5lbs and I got my first silver 7 sticker and a group clap (I went bright red!)

Thanks for asking - I haven't told anyone I'm doing this (well except you guys) and I can't wait to announce I'm at goal....getting a tad ahead of myself! 33.5lbs to go...

I'm going to buy the rubarb and custard sweets you mentioned this saturday.

I don't get the points thing. How do I know how many I start with and how do I calculate what each item I eat is worth?
