Hi all, well done once again for the weight loss.:T
I was wanting to ask does anybody know if it is ok to eat weight loss tablets like adios or something new iv seen on tv called one week while on ww?
Could you also give me your views on these tablets please?
Thanks:o0 -
Well done on the loss Roversbabe and Penky, we'll still be here so you can weigh with us :-)
Wow, 3 inches! Well done schmickle! I am a notch in on my belt and can't wait to measure again, another 2 weeks to go. I have bought a piar of trousers the next size down and can squeeeeeeeeeeze into them but will have to wait a little longer before i can actually breathe in them to wear them!
Easter's gonna be hard...I've got lunch out today and tomorrow, a cheese and wine evening on Friday night and a girls night out on Saturday night and I don't think I'll get to the WW meeting at 9am Saturday morning...!!
Sorry Tanny no idea on tablets.
xReally should be doing some work...0 -
Puddings. My saturday morning weigh in is not on this week due to the centre we use being closed over Easter. So it will be 2 weeks until next weigh in. Leader has asked us all for a 2lb weight loss - will try my best.
I wish the CO-OP would take the Lindt big bars of chocolate off special offer, as the large bars of intense orange (11.5 points per bar) are reduced from £1.79 to £1 - how can I resist.Josey0 -
Hmm, she didn't say it was off last week so I presume its on - must check though just incase. I reckon you can do 2lbs Josey!
Well I am seriously bored as there's no one in the office and exceptionally miserable today after a huge row yesterday and I just want to eat and eat and eat. So far I have stuck to WW goodies...Really should be doing some work...0 -
All is quite in my office too!
Have just made a nice cup of cad highlights hot choc to satisfy my sweet craving.
Regarding tablets I'm not entirely sure about them. They are quite tempting but you hear so many bad things about them that I dont think I would like to try them. They may help with your weight loss but what about when you stop taking them?
I know sometimes the weight loss can be slow but it really does work and it's not meant to be a quick fix - it's meant to help you stay slim for the rest of your life. I somehow dont think tablets have the same effect.
Obviously this is just personal opinion though so if you do decide to try them let us know how you get on!

I made a lovely Chicken noodle soup in my slow cooker today and it was so nice I thought I would share it with you all. It makes 4 large bowls and is quite thick so fills me up. Serves 4 at 4 points per serving.
Ingredients
1 medium onion(s), diced
2 stick celery, diced
2 medium carrot(s), diced
200 g left over cooked chicken
1 100g cooked frozen peas
1 stock cube, made up to 700ml
1 can Campbells Condensed 99% Fat Free Chicken Soup
1 tablespoon dried mixed herbs
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
1 pack Amoy Straight to Wok Medium Egg Noodles,
1 canSweetcorn
2 level tablespoon cornflour, mixed with cold water
Instructions
Put all ingrediants except noodles, cornfour and sweetcorn into slow cooker and cook. Add cornflour mixed with cold water, noodles and sweetcorn 30 minutes before end of cooking.
Enjoy.Josey0 -
I joined weight watchers this week. It is the first time I have been to a diet club for many years. I have loads of motivation at the moment and want to make the most of that, so started going to they gym again as well as doing some Wii fit at home.
I'm finding the points calculation pretty difficult, although have found a recipe points calculator which helps a lot. I was really surprised to find my lovely home made korma made with double cream is only 8 points, as I make it with veg the only things I had to count were potatoes, cream and the oil for cooking. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0 -
Welcome jordylass.
I have started using the recipe points calculator very useful as well.
Hope we can help each other out over the Easter period.Josey0 -
