Have you dropped your points as the pounds have come off? For every stone you lose I think you have to drop down a point.....maybe wrong, so feel free to clarify!:money: Martin Lewis Rocks!:money:0

Have you tracked everything? Are you exercising more recently?
Hmm... :huh:Really should be doing some work...0 -
I have dropped a point, since I have only lost a stone. I have also tracked what I have eaten.
As for exercising, hmm, I guess I have been walking/riding my bike a bit more this past week, nothing major tho', just cause the weather has been nice.
If it's the exercise, how can the weight gain be combatted? I don't want to gain weight I've worked hard to loose.0 -
If it is exercise making you gain then it will be because you are gaining muscle which is good and increases your metabolism (or so I was told in my gym management training) Are you measuring? You may find you are losing inches - gaining muscle does not mean you're getting larger/fatter. I used to (hopefully) reassure our members that no one knows their actual weight and how often did people pick them up and carry them around to find out iyswim but I know its hard in your own head and have trouble believing it when its my own body i'm talking about. We used to do measurements every 4 weeks and majority of those who had put a little bit of weight on one month actually lost inches and also saw a change in their body shape/dropped a dress size. We measured bust, waist, hips, arm and thigh once a month.
I don't know if I'm helping or wibbling on..

Still thinking....drinking enough? Eating a variety of different foods?
I really am rambling and I should be concentrating on the goings on with Sir Alan Sugar :-)Really should be doing some work...0 -
Haven't measured, only been getting on the scales. I don't actually feel as if I've lost inches, especially since I'm avoiding trying new clothes on
I will be getting weighed again tomorrow, so if I've put anymore weight on, I'll start measuring.0 -
Are you eating enough? Have plenty of no point soup and veggies to fill you up. Works for me if I stay the same or gain a bit.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 027

I was gutted, stuck with it all week and worked out 5 times, only lost 1.5 pounds, moving to low carb...There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0

Dont give up, some people will find they have a smaller loss than they were hoping for in the first week. Keep at it - it does work. Where has your motivation gone that you had so much of last week.
I have stayed the same for the last 2 months, this is because I am not allowed to do anything after a heart scare. I have kept going to meetings and on here because if I didn't I would have put on weight whilst sitting on my bum.
Keep smilingJosey0 -
I'm still full of motivation to loose weight, but know that if I'd been low carbing I would have lost at least 5 lbs.
I have about 10 stone to loose overall, so a 1.5 weight loss for the first week is just silly.
I had 30 points per day as my diet is already pretty healthy only the day I had a piece of cake did I manage to eat 30 points...There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0
