I know what you mean, when you read a magazine and the celebrity drops a dress size by losing half a stone  it definitely doesn't work that way! I've lost 10lbs now but there's not a hope in hell I can go buy the next size down. Well except a bra size I reckon - my boobs are shrinking!! (and they wasn't much there to start with )

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to choose where the weight went from
Really should be doing some work...
  • I agree, I've lost over a stone and am noway fitting into the next dress size down. I got another 3 stone or so to loose before I reach the maximum of what is considered my ideal weight. Long way to go still before I buy new clothes.

Had some of the Sainsbury sugar free marshmallows this afternoon, and I am suffering with stomach cramps and running to the loo a lot. Just a warning, have these in moderation as else....... :o

There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.

    Hi All,
I am Shazzle and pleased to meet you. I was given loads of WW stuff from a pal at work and have been following the points plan for 8 days now..I lost 2 pounds on Monday and hope to keep ANY loss up as its very difficult for me !!
About me, I exercise hard but also eat and drink hard which is the problem as at 11.5 stone and 5ft4 AND with ropey knees I am not doing myself any favours and at nearly 40 its now or never...
So enough about me what am I doing.
Well a colleague and I "food share" during the week so one day I cook breakfast and K does lunch then vice versa all week. This not only removes one thought process it also keep us highly motivated and on the straight and hopefully narrow.....lol x
I love to read your posts as I find this almost a cyber meeting and so inspiring.
I hope to post regularly and keep up the good work everyone x x

    Welcome Shazzle.
I like the idea of food sharing, that would encourage me to try more new recipes and vary the lunches that we seem to stick with.

I've been Money Tipped! Chutzpah Haggler
Hi everyone, I have just joined a WW group today and have a few questions if that's ok as I have never done it before

Firstly, I have signed and paid for a monthly pass, they have given me a starter voucher I have to complete online, but it is asking for my debit card details, it doesn't say when it will take the money but I am concerned as I have already paid for the forthcoming month???

Also, how many points extra do you get for exercise? I run 40 miles a week!!!

Can you carry points over to the next day if you don't use them or do you have to have them all every day? what happens if you have a few less than you should?

Finally, can anyone give me a list of zero points food to help me along? I am currently struggling not knowing what to eat, what is classed as 'low points' etc, I am used to doing Slimming World and wanted a change (as I got sick of mullerlights!!) so any advice would help

    thanks
