  • hi for anyone who likes crisps they are my downfall. iv just been to sainsburys and was searching for something i could have as a snack. they have be good to yourself soya and potato snacks on buy 5 for £1.50 cheese and red onion/thai sweet chilli/paprika/ and a lime and something one cant remember as i dont like lime so didnt get it. anyway they work out at 1.5pts per 25g bag the chilli ones were really tasty and were more like proper crisps rather than puffed up like some are. quite a decent amount in bag aswell. just thought id let you know i know quavers are low points aswell but i get a bit sick of them lol. il post my food diary later and getting weighed tomorrow so fingers crossed.

I do a fair bit of walking every day for the school run but I don't count the extra points only if I do something out of the ordinary, eg swimming, running, extra walk etc. I do that about 2/3 times a week so the activity points do add up but I consider my normal energy output to be covered by my food IYSWIM

Well done on your loss - that's great.:T Let us know how the curry is.

Just had my zero point curry and it was lovely and very filling. Would recommend it. On the subject of crisps - I bought Velvet Crunch in Tesco last week which are only 1 point per bag. The ones i had were cheese and onion flavoured but I think they do sweet chilli too - they were very nice.

My food diary for the day:

    B. 2 x crumpets 2, Clover 1.

    L. Pizza Oval 3.5, M&S Handcooked crisps 2.5

    D. Vegetable curry 0, Rice 3, Wholemeal pitta 2, WW Vanilla Creamed Rice 1.5

    S. WW Caramel Chocolate Bar 1.5, Skinny Cow Icecream sandwich 2.

Have you got the recipe for it?
  • I followed the basic recipe for Summer Vegetable curry on the WW website but put my own veg in.

My Ingredients: 2 cloves of garlic, piece of ginger, large onion, 2 x tins of chopped tomatoes, red pepper, cauliflower, brocolli, courgette, baby sweetcorn, mushroom, 3/4 of a pint of vegetable stock (I used one of those new stock pot things), 4 heaped teaspoons of medium curry powder. I also added a bit of mild chilli powder and some baby spinach at the end of cooking.

    Instructions
    • Mist a large saucepan with spray cooking oil. Saut! onion, garlic and ginger until softened, but not browned, about 3-4 minutes.
    • Add curry powder and stir well, then add all the vegetables, canned tomatoes, stock and most of the coriander. Heat until boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 45 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
    • Check seasoning, adding salt and pepper to taste.
    • Serve, garnished with coriander.
