    my surgery has posters up about it- I just saw the practice nurse= she asked a few questions & gave me the forms- as someone else said not all surgeries are aware of the scheme. good luck

    Well done nadine!

    Had my stwe today. Here's what I did...

    2 tins of WW tomato soup (2 points)
    2 tins of water
    1 carrot
    1 parsnip (1 point)
    1/2 sweede
    1 potato (1 point)
    Beef stock cube

    Total thats 4 points and it made 3 decent portions, so going to say its 1.5 points per portion :) Was lovely for lunch, although next time Ill take out the parsnip and add more carrot.

    Def think it needs to be eaten with a big crusty roll though. BUT this is high in points, anyone have any low points alternatives? I just love dunking my bread in!

  • What about a pitta bread, bagel, or a tesco healthy living roll to go with your stew? I know that rolls are 2 points per 50g so maybe half a large one?

    well done it looks nice. well im learning from to day to PLAN lol i havent even had my tea yet and ive used 12 on silly things it started missing my lunch as i wasnt hungry big mistake now i cant stop snacking but im not going to see it as day 1 failed im going to get right back on track.

  • well im finding it hard to point stuff at the min. especially at work i work in a school kitchen and my lunch is included in my wages they are quite healthy but aimed at kids diets so include more fat ie:cheese, semi milk, veg roasted in oil. so im trying to pick the things that are the least points and have small portions but iv no idea of the points value. today i had pasta neoplitan with broccoli and cauliflower. the pasta and cheese topping need pointing but im going to have to guess think il put it down as 5. must get motivated and do dvd in a min. im getting weighed on thurs. good luck all.

    Hi all new to this board but a bit of a WW veteran.
    Am a gold member weighing every week but just trying to loose a bit more to prepare for going on holiday.
    WI this morning and have lost 3lb yay, I managed to put on 8 1/2 over Christmas lol so was trying to shift that lot. Now 6 under goal.
    Am going to have a yummy roast tonight as i think it is the wether for it :-)
    Wha are you al enjoying for tea tonight.

    I would love to plan but OH is an anti planner. He likes to come home look in the cupboard and go 'lets have that!!!'.

    Like tonight Im having WW spaghetti (5) but as Im starving Im padding it out with chips (3.5) and garlic bread (3) so Ill be stuffed for 11.5 points, which is ok as I had a healthy day.

    But I cant think 'hmmm having pizza tonight, better have a super low point lunch' as I never know what were having!!
