Hi all, I didn't make my 1st meeting tonight due to the snow. Can anyone tell me, when you go do they give you anything to get you started i.e points calculator or do you have to buy it all on top?

You have to buy an electronic points calculator but you get a cardboard slidey one for free. You'll get a welcome pack - can either buy a points planner or get a free weekly sheet although last time I went to classes it was hit or miss as to whether they had the freebies.

Well just got back from a course in Birmingham. Left home at 5.30am to go to the train station and on way there partner rang to say they had just cancelled my train. Waited for next one and that was delayed on route by 30 minutes. Took a breakfast bar for train and put a few WW snacks in my briefcase. On arrival at venue they laid on biscuits and pastries and none passed my lips. At lunch I was very good and had poached haddock with lots of veg, followed by fresh fruit salad (I passed on the chocolate cake and the spotted !!!!!! with custard). On train coming home eat some of my WW snacks, and just having a cup of tea before an early night. Worked it out to 18.5 points used out of 23.

I will do my best to get my 10% keyring this week. Just 2lbs to go.

Evening all....On my 2nd day of WW, want to loose 17lbs which will take me to the lowest ideal weight for my height instead of being the highest. Made the creamy mushrooms on toast fr my breakfast from the new discovery plan (very tasty), had a hambuger happy meal for my lunch (with diet coke :rotfl: ) so for tea i've had the 0 point chunky veg soup and some crispbread for my tea. I'm very hungry now and have no points left, so am sat in my bedroom trying to stay away from the kitchen.

Well done on your loss - that's great.:T Let us know how the curry is.
  • Thanks Mel and I'll let you know how the curry tastes later. Planning on having it with rice and a wholemeal pitta bread so 5 points total. Have also got 3 portions to put in the freezer :D .
