  • Rinroo, I'm a vegetarian and if I'm having an Indian I'll get saag aloo (spinach and potatoes, which I think is about 6 points, don't have the book to hand) and half a large naan bread (which tends to work out at about 5 points), no rice. I love it and I'm always stuffed afterward but I've been told I have weird food taste so maybe I'm not the best person to be giving tips! xxx
  • Just wanted to ask everyone, do you have any recommendations when it comes to WW-branded food? I recently tried the sweet chilli crisps that are 1 point a bag and they are amazing! Currently on 2 for 70p at Morrisons so I'm planning on buying about 8 bags tomorrow :rotfl:

Also love the cheese puffs (like Wotsits but better, and only 1 point! And they last for ages), the belgian chocolate slices that are 1.5 points each (totally satisfy my chocolate cravings) and their little pots of rice pudding that are also 1.5 points each. There's probably more but I'll remember it all later! xxx

Thanks stargirl, ordered a saag and convinced the oh to share, even though he isnt a spinach fan ;)

As for ww branded food, I am in love with the ww carrot cake slices 1 point each and I had the Spicy mixed bean soup 1 point for a large tin was really nice so will be buying that again. I'm not a fan of the ww frozen lasagne though! -
  • Rinroo, anything that is a tandori dish and is not in a sauce is the healthiest indian, especially chicken or king prawn.

Sorry don't have the book to hand so can give u exact points.

ps chow mein and chop suey are the healthier options when having a chinese

    elles :o

Sooooo with you on the cheese puffs! I think i even prefer them to wotsits.
Choc brownies are really nice if you have a sweet tooth. Only 2.5 per piece.
The ice cream sundaes are scrummy aswell, again 2.5 per one.

Had my weigh in this morning and its another pound off. I would have liked it to be 2lbs (dont we all want that every week) so I could be at 10%, but at least its off and not on.

We were given a lesson in cheese this week.
Reduced fat cheese must be 30% less than the full fat equivalent
Low fat cheese must be less than 3% fat
95% fat free is easy - 5% fat
But the surprise for me was lite / light is the same as reduced and must be 30% less than the full fat equivalent. I thought it would have been lower than low fat - so watch the lables.
