I'm not a huge fan of the ww things, I tend not to buy them. If I really want something chocolatey at the mo I have a bag of maltesers or something similar. I know its 3.5 pts but it reminds me that I'm wasting calories.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

Hi
OH and myself are joining the ww club near us tomorrow evening. We have both really ballooned since OH went BR in July and I moved back in with him (he had been living away working and just coming home at weekends) It shows just how many calories stress uses.
But now its time to take control and do something ( we are both at that funny age when heart attacks and strokes happen and we are of an age when we need to start looking after ourselves (47 and 47)
Things must be bad cos OH is going to go to the weigh ins and join properly
Good luck to everyone and please wish us luck
Cuddles :rotfl:( PS That name is going to change)

I've had a bit of a bad weekend. My indian takeaway on friday night, though I dont think it was that bad, then saturday I ate a full packet of ww carrot cake slices and I yesterday I had a large slice of my sisters birthday cake - it was a costco one and I couldnt refuse it.
I've just made a massive pan of spicy squash soup out of the Feb ww mag issue and its delish 0 points too.
If something is 0 points can you eat as much as you like? Or does this defeat the object of portion control?? I'm really hungry today - think its the cold weather.
So far i've had
B - 3 x weetabix 1/2 skimmed milk = 4p
S - large apple = 1p
S - WW Yoghurt = 1p0 -
I think for a day it won't hurt but if you continually eat large portions even of healthy food you will be able to eat so much more of bad food when you binge.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

:hello: Just out of curiosity how are your daily points allowances worked out? Is it from your starting weight? If so how would I do mine?
Thanks

well i've been poorly this last week, hardly a morsel has passed my lips except 3 ice lollies to soothe my sore throat, and 2 slices of melon. today i have felt much better, and made a spag bol for tea, but only managed to eat about 2 spoonfuls. i cant even stomach tea as the milk in it makes me queezy. i have drunk quite a bit of water tho' .
i was actually wondering weather to go on weds due to this (as i have not eaten in 5 days). as i am getting better, i was wondering if it would be a worthwhile visit and also if i was likely to put weight on next week when my palate becomes more appetised, i am aiming to continue with point counting btwGive blood - its free0 -
If you're still ill please don't go as you'll probably pass whatever you have on to others at the meeting. I would probably not go myself anyway and then next week your weight will be more likely to be accurate.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0
