  • hi all i stayed the same this week but quite relieved really coz iv had a bad week. im going for a meal with OH tomorrow night so im thinking if i keep my points low all week it might make up for it. on the point about quorn i can eat it fine but OH and DS turn there noses up at it. the thing is if i eat quorn i can still have the things i like there is so much choice these days you can find a substitute for almost everything. im going to have lots of no point soup this week the thing is i really enjoy it lol.

  • I have just started ww, but I'm doing it myself without attending classes.
This is my 2nd week and in total I've lost 6 lbs.
Was just wondering, do people exercise aswell as diet to assist in their weight loss?

Well done on the weight loss.
We should exercise as well. I bought a pedometer a few weeks ago, but with all the snow and ice around, I have not kept to my target of 5000 steps a day. I know I will have put on weight at my weigh in this morning, so shall have to nuckle down and get some walking done.

  • Hi yes I find exercise really helps with the weight loss. I dont count it as bonus points either. I have just cancelled my gym membership as it was just too expensive, so have bought Davina Super Body Workout dvd to do at home. It's fab and I completely recomend it!

    Hi All,

Pleased to report a 2lb loss this week - a loss of 4.5lb in the last fortnight which i think is the most i've ever lost over 2 weeks! Can recommend jumbo caramel snack a jacks to replace chocolate digestives (that my OH has been packing away!)

Does anyone know if you're meant to get anything for having lost 25lb? my total loss now is 26lb but it went unnoticed at weigh in and i only realised when i got home and put my stats in the computer!

    :T

  • Ok, I put on 1/2 a pound this week. I was expecting that (and more) to be honest.

Enjoyed Valentines Day  complete with Prawns in garlic and chilli oil, Beef wellington, chocolates from Hotel Chocolate, washed down with 1 bottle champagne, 1 botle of red wine and finishing off with irish coffee.

Today I am back on the programme whilst nursing a sore head. Will try and get some exercise done in a bit to wake me up.

Hope you are all having a good Sunday.

    Hi all

Can i join you ? lol im a 30 year old female mummy to a little 2yr old madame ive lost over 6 stone with ww before, However after a very very very bad pregnancy i put it all back on :@(

It wasnt the diets fault my own for being greedy needless to say i know the diet inside out and what i really like about it is the freedom so if i am out somewhere and the only place to eat is a mcdonalds i can have it with out thinking stuff it ive blown the diet

I must admit i have being trying slimming world for the last few days i did stick to it but i get the feeling you would be eating a lot of the same things over and over again, I dont like fruit or yoghurt and these are free on sw but are no benifit to me :@(

So here i am again ive booked my hols for auguest and got a wedding to go to in july i just wanna be able to fit into something i like and not just what fits !

Im quite large at the moment 19st 7lb arghhhh im 5ft 8in i wanna get to about 12 stone

i dont wanna be thin thin just to be able to fit into a nice size 14 from next would do, I love my food too much i think to ever be skinny lol

so there u have it sorry for rambiling for so long got a bit carried away

    good luck to all

  • Lisa (owens3116) Welcome.

I like the flexibility of WW points as well.
This week though I am going to try and stick to 3 meals a day, as at the moment I am finding I am grazing my way through the day and I dont think this is helping my weight loss. I shall see how it goes.
