Hi i am new to the this thread so i hope the support will encourage me as i am wanting to try WW.
I am just trying to get the facts straight before i start but i am not wanting to attend the meetings as i cant afford them being a single mother.
I have worked out my points allowance by reading this thread but id just like to know about the exercise and how the points work with the exercise.
:rotfl:
Please help.0 -
Have been on weight watchers for about 5 weeks. I ain't going to the meetings. My friend, who is a member of WW, gave me a points calculator and a booklet.
Each week I've either lost 2 or 4 lbs. However, this week's weigh in, I remained the same as last week. The only thing I had changed is I've added exercise. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is it normal?0 -

What is the booklet called?
I think that may be normal because your body is most likely to loose fat as you start a diet but then tends to slow down cos your body gets used to the healthy eating and the exercise but then i could be wrong, i think i will leave that for someone more advanced in WW.:rotfl:0 -
H i all,
just another quick post, whats the bit about bonus points and weekly activity points?0 -
Hi,
I have been a weight watchers member for 8 weeks, I have lost every week so far and last week lost 2.5lbs. Lost 1 stone and 5lbs, hopefully this weekend I can say over a stone and a half.
I exercise doing wii fit yoga and I do a 30 min step aerobic dvd with dumb bells every day. I could use those points I make from exercise to food but I choose not too. I started off not using all my points but was advised to make sure I use all my points.
Problem I am having is my chocolate cravings are doing my head in!!No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -
 Well have STS this week. No surprises really as went off the rails a bit!
Must try harder this week!
Hope everyone is ok and doing well :j0 -
I have had a "first meeting for £2.75" card through the post, and WW are doing free registration. I was just wondering what they give you in the "1st week" pack at the moment? I would like the most up to date points books.
I was a WW member a year or so ago, and am currently attending SW but following WW (long story, GP referral, made wrong choice of slimming club, regret it now).0 -
