Morning All.....
Yes I did try the black forest bars - my honest evaluation is that they are quite small, but VERY chocolaty, and have a slight tang of fruit.
I'm a big fan of cherry flavoured things and would have liked more cherry flavour, but if your a chocolat fan then these are the bars for you - but be careful it would be easy to get carried away with them.
Not eaten anything yet today will post food later.
Bunny is right the discovery plan is just points as usual but with a new emphisis on what they consider t be filling foods, you do get a lovely little folder though - if it's free to join Id go just to get the folder)
Hope everyone has a fabo day.....0 -
Would you get all the information booklets on your first meeting - I know WW went through a stage of giving them out over a period of several weeks.
ie could I join, pay the fees, get weighed and get all the bumph / booklets / leaflets etc and disappear into the sunset?0 -

I rejoined several weeks ago and only went back once before falling off the wagon (crap week) and have decided to go it alone at home and save £20 a month as I personally don't find it makes any difference whether I 'face the scales' in front of others or not, if I am going to have a bad week then I will anyway! I know that other people are much more motivated if they stay to meetings, its a personal thing.
It was free to join and I just paid the weekly fee of £5.50. Got the folder which gives you details of their new Discover Plan. There's also a 7 day 'fast start' menu plan and several other info sections in the folder. The second week I got another little booklet for the folder and each week they give you a mini booklet called 'Your Week' which gives you recipe ideas.
The way I look at it, its a plan I need to stick to as much as possible for life, even after I get to goal, so I may as well learn to go it alone now! Cambridge diet was great - then it all went back on because its not sensible eating. Weight Watchers is the ideal healthy eating plan for life.Slimming World: SD: 2.05.16 SW: 13st10lb

No they still give out the books over 4 weeks, to go in your little folder.
BUT... if you brought a starter kit thid has a shopping guide, eating out guide and tracker, you really wouldn't need much else.
Just an idea.....0 -

I would like to join the group please:j
I am currently doing rather badly having only lost 4lb's since January 1st. I have joined online in the hope that because it cost money I would do it properly:rolleyes:
Unfortunately I can not leave the crisps and wine alone and I think I have wrecked my metabolism with diets which don't suit me.
It looks like I have the most to lose on here and I am so ashamed of myself for getting to this size. It's nearly a year ago since I went to the Doctors (a few weeks after giving birth) to get help with my weight and be checked over as I had severe anemia. All he had to say was "Well I should think you should lose weight immediately, you are after all carrying the weight of two people. You must eat more fruit and vegetables and exercise."
I went home in tears and did what I always do...comfort ate.:o
I have a minimum of 7 stone to lose.
Your doctor sounds like a toad! I have almost the same to lose as you  so hopefully we can encourage each other. I'm doing the online thing as well and weighing myself at the gym. Hugs xxNever let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0 -

It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together."
