I was a member in the summer/ autumn but stopped going due to personal stuff at home. I went back the other week and found that I'd put on 3lb in my 3 months off. In my first week I lost 2lb, so I'm nearly what I was when I stopped. If I look at my starting weight from the summer, I'm still 9lb down!

I find planning lunches helps. This week I've made 2 batches of soups- a pea and lettuce soup (2pts a bowl) and am going to make some roast squash and chickpea soup for later in the week (will prob work out at about 2 pts a bowl as well).

I pay for the monthly membership and find the online service invaluable. I can put the ingredients of my recipes in and it gives really accurate points values per portion. It helps me keep on track by writing EVERYTHING down. I only wish it would work on my iPhone!

As you can see from my food today I tend to graze my way through the day.

    Fruit and fibre 40g 2.5
½ pint SS milk for day 2.0
    Asda fruit salad 1.0
    Beef jerky 1.0
    Quavers 1.5
    Salad 1.0
    WW Black forest bar 1.5
Irish Stew 6.0 Home made - put it in the slow cooker before I left for work.
    WW Carrot cake 1.0
2 litres of water and so far 3 cups of tea and a cup of coffee (all decaf)

I am on 23 points, but after being bad at the week-end, will try to save a few each day to make up.

Out to a wine tasting tomorrow - 6 glasses of wine paired with 6 courses of food. Oh dear.

I didn't know you could get free referals from the doc for gym and WW... that's brillient!

Well - you are of course welcome to join us here, lots of people have lost lots of weight on WW and shoild be able to answer any questions you may have.

Perhaps a few people could post some typical days menus which might give you some inspiration.

    My menu today was

    B: Toast x 2, spread and marmite - 3.5 points

    S: apple - 0.5

L: 2 x toast, one poached egg and an extra egg white, ketchup - 5 points

D: noodles, chicken, black bean sauce, carrots, baby corn, water chesnuts 7 points

    S: WW blueberry bar 1.5

And I've had 2 cups of tea, and lots of sugar free squash

Anyone else care to share thier menu's?
