skintlas - tell us what your finding hard - we might be able to help or make suggestions???
and Emms... if you don't know an acurate start weight - you won't be motivated by how WELL you have done over those 2 weeks.... seems a shame to stick to a diet for a couple of weeks and not be proud of the weight you lose??? Just a suggestion...
Well booked a personal training session at the gym tomorrow to work out a program for me and I'll be going on the kick start plan for the 1st 2 weeks...
Keep u all posted!!!0 -
Im going to measure my tum instead of weighing just now. Ive lost 6 stone before so I dont think I will have any probs with the motivation, plus I have a wedding to go to in two months and a dress that doesnt fit to get into

Thanks for the offer of help :-). I find weekends hard as I use food as a comfort along with some wine at weekends
. I had flu and only just started getting energy back so have started swimming again plus will restart gym. Basically I like eating too much
Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0 -
Emms - good call on the measuring - after losing 6 stone in the past I'm sure U can give us all some tips on staying motivated
) Might take mine to record my changing shape - where do you measure and how often to you check for changes?
Skintlas - Have you tried making up some 0 point soups? Maybe have them along side lunch and as a starter for dinner? You might find you aren't as hungry and it won't effect your points
Any other suggestions?????0 -
got about 6 and a half stones to lose - have signed up for ww online. Finding it hard but will stick to it ( I hope)!
Hey, if you don't mind me asking what's your age & height? I started out with 6 and a half stone to lose as well (my start weight was 16st 10.5lbs, currently 12st 11lbs, goal 10st 3lbs) just wondering if we had similar stats xxx
And nich29580 your dessert sounds amazing - after 6 months on WW I'm desperately seeking out new things to try, will definitely be trying that! My favorite dessert discovery to date is a massive 3point trifle - basically half a bowl of sugar free jelly, a couple of lady fingers, topped with Ambrosia low fat custard and Anchor low-fat squirty cream... divine, and so filling as well! xxx
Edit: Forgot to say hot.chick, well done on booking your training session, very pro-active of you - I really need to do something like that but ATM the stepping machine is enough for me... I'm so unfit! :rotfl:Went ice-skating today for an hour and a half as well, which was knackering, so I'm hoping that burnt off the indian buffet I had before it  xxx0 -

I'm in:j
I have over the past 8 years lost 3 stone twice with WW and know it works very well.
I re-joined last week and my first weigh in is Tuesday.
I have about 4 stone to lose so it's not going to be quick but as i know it works that gives me the motivation.
I have been on steroids for 12 months which have made me gain weight and have also been very ill which has made me eat more comfort food and do no exercise but i decided i need to lose it.
Hoping for some good recipes here:TIt's not paranoia if they really are after you.0 -

I was looking at my Gold membership card yesterday and it was 20 years since I was last at target weight. I think this tread is going to be most useful in keeping me motivated. I am after losing a stone for Easter as that will be 14 weeks since Christmas - 1lb per week. If I can resist the cream eggs hidden away (from CO-OP promotion).

What sort of recipes are you after. I do a lot of slow cooker cooking as I work full time and this means a meal is ready when I get in and stops me picking at things I should not.Josey0
