3lb in one week is fantastic!! well done!!! My leader was saying at this meeting that if we all aim to lose one or two pounds over the next 2 weeks then if we put a couple of pound on over Christmas we will back to where we are now (kind of?!) so give it an extra push to lose an extra pound so if you gain one or two it won't be the end of the world. :TOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 607 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T

4.5lbs off for me this week and I reached my 10% goal :j . Am a very happy student midwife

Good luck to everyone else with WI's this week xOct GC: £144.07/£2000 -
I would love to be a midwife - what a rewarding job! How long do you have to train for?
Anyway, 1/2 a pound on this week  But I am not terribly surprised as I have felt really blurgh and down in the dumps this week. Its cold, dark and I don't feel very energetic. I think I am going to get some multivitamins this week to try and perk me up! I also found out the 2 mince pies I ate were 11 points - half my days allowance!!!!
Onwards and upwards - tomorrow I am going to be an angel :AOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 607 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T

It is very rewarding - I love it! It takes 3 years to train - 50% uni and 50% placement. I'm now part way through my 2nd year. Its hard work but worth itOct GC: £144.07/£2000

Put 2lb on this week but then not surprising really down to two xmas parties and too much wine. But that is it now, no more parties just family do's where they'll all be watching what I eat/drink/say! Have made lunch for tomorrow all pointed up so fingers crossed can get those 2 lb's off this week. Good luck everyone!0

Being a midwife, would you happen to know if it is safe to follow weightwatchers while trying to conceive or being pregnant?Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 607 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T

Not 100% sure but I know that WW don't take pregnant members. I would say its not advisable to be restricting calories when you are pregnant because the baby needs the nutrients/ energy and your body is working extra hard during pregnancy. When trying to conceive I don't think it would make a lot of difference. Healthy eating is important though.
I will ask one of the qualified midwives today.Oct GC: £144.07/£2000 -
Hi,
I have been a gold member of weight watchers for nearly two years now. I am very proud of how much I have achieved and try to keep up meetings/tracking/excersise etc so that I do not put on all the weight I have lost.
Recently I have not had as much time to get to meetings and my weight is starting to creep back on as I dont have the motivation/guilt keeping me on track.
Is there any way to reducing the cost of joining eSource or even just getting a free trial to see if it helps me at all for the times I cannot get to meetings.I am still slightly annoyed about the fact gold members still have to pay for this but I wont start moaning about that now
Hope someone can help!!!
Thanks!!!!:rudolf:Merry Christmas0 -
