  • I've been going to WW since June and only just found this thread! So hi everyone

A little bit of background info on me: Joined WW 10/06/08, which was my first time joining any slimming club. I'm absolutely thrilled with the results so far - I have 6st 7 1/2lbs to lose altogether to get to my goal weight, and have lost 3st 8lbs so far :D

Not too sure how I feel about the changes yet, although I do think it's good that they're encouraging you to eat "filling foods" rather then wasting points on junk food (which I have to admit is what I do!) xxx

Hi all... i started weightwatchers at the beginning of the year and lost almost 2 stone. Then my dad ended up in hospital and it all went out the window. I really want to go back and I fel that the incentive of the meetings really works. but at £5 something a week it is quite expensive. Opinions please.... should i pay the money and start back again, going to the meetings, or should I use the books etc i have at home and just do my own weigh ins at home! I know people say you only cheat yourself but I find weightloss really difficult but I really am determined this time..... also I guess I feel a bit of a failure going back to the meetings..... xxx

  • Don't feel a failure going back to meetings, most people put the weight on and need to start again (me included:rolleyes: ) . It is harder to do it on your own but you could weigh and report here if you need encouragement :D I'll kick your butt when you gain if you want:rotfl: :rotfl:
  • Hi everyone

Just spotted this thread. Joined WW on 9th October and have lost 23lbs so far :j . Only 3lbs to go now till I reach my 10% goal. Before I joined my blood pressure was on the verge of being dangerously high and its already back to normal which is great :T .

Good luck with WI's this week.

lol... thanks hollowhead!!!!! I went to the docs today and went through all the things I have been meaning to for a little while, and also the fact I have a throat infection hence why I am not at work!!!

She has referred me to a weightloss clinic.... who apparently help you to work out why you over eat etc etc etc and almost a bit like a counselling service. I work and it is free (which i was suprised about) and so I imagine it is free for all.... so I am looking forward to getting an appointment although there is alot of questions to answer.

Anyone done anything like this before???

I think I am still going to rejoin WW next week.... before the new year rush!!!

Weighed in and 1.5lb off this week :j Bought a new pair of jeans that is the next size down - well chuffed. And I bought myself a new pair of designer specs today (not very MSE but they were reduced) so feeling like I am looking good!
