I've had a good day today and resisted sausages AND a 2nd helping of rice pudding :j. 2 leftover sausages were crying out for me to eat them but I made DD and her B/F eat them instead and I've just had my dessert and there was a portion left over. I nearly ate it :o but popped it in the fridge for tomorrow instead. Now I just have to get a lock for the fridge door  :rotfl:.

    Today's menu:
Brekkie - 2 boiled eggs and 2 slices toast with low fat spread
    Snack - H/M fairy cake, 20g hazelnuts and 20g raisins (I quite like the nuts/raisins, can't you tell :D)
Lunch - chicken and sweetcorn soup and garlic bread (2 pieces)
Dinner - WW recipe spicy pancetta macaroni and rice pud

    Total = 22 points

Hope everyone has a good day tomorrow, need to go shopping and get some supplies here (if there's any food left in the supermarkets, by all accounts lots of people panic buying ).

Thought i'd let everyone know about this offer in Somerfield/co-op for reduced fat pizzas at half price: http://value.co-operative.coop/chilled.asp

5.5 points for half a pepperoni pizza and they don't taste like !!!!!!

Turned up to my WI only to find...nothing. Must have been cancelled because of the snow. That's a whole month now without one!

  • I have just joined ww on line today but I didnt realise it was so complicated. I went years ago to the meetings and we had a book that you could look up for points or a wheel thing that told you points but do I need to put everything I eat online to work out the points? I was looking for ready made diets to follow but can't find anything and I dont want to stop and have to switch the pc on everytime I want to eat something. Does anyone else use it as I'm sure there must be an easier way.

Now you said your weight a little while ago and it is just over the stone I have just gone under and I am on 20 points, was on 21 then, how are you only on 18? :(

I also thought this, you should be on more than 18 points to my calculation I would guess at 20?

You really should eat your full allowance, perhaps this is why your struggling? I am now on 18 points and can honestly say if I had the choice of more I would eat them :rotfl:

Don't give up - it soon becomes really easy! I only log on once a day, in the evening. I pretty much eat similar things for breakfast (boiled egg+cream cheese) and lunch (various salads) and I put them on the website the night before. Then I put dinner and snacks on in the evening. I find it helps me plan - I know what the points values are before I eat and it helps me plan my shopping.. Also it's easy to save 'meals' of things you eat regularly so you don't have to recalculate the points.

You know..I'm not sure.. LOL :rotfl:

I calculated my points allowance with my mums books a while ago..i'm gonna give her a call now and get her to work it out for me. Last time I calculated I was working in a job where I was on my feet constantly..but now I'm unemployed from moving house to 2 hours away from home..so hmm!

I'm 21 years old, female, and currently weighing in at 12.2lb (damn you xmas weight gain!) - I think I better give her a call and ask her to check for me..

    Hi YWG
I'm in my 20s, female, over 12 st and I get 21 points. I think the other factor is height, but it does sound like you might have more than 18 points in your allowance. Best check it out!!

    3. What do you weight?
Enter the FIRST 2 DIGITS of your weight in pounds example 175 = 17 points.

    4. How tall are you?
    Under 5'1''.......0 points
    5'1''-5'10''.........1 point
    over 5'10''........2 points
