2.5lb loss since Monday!
Really happy! I have decided (as mentioned last night) that I am going to switch my WI day to a Friday.
Did an hour long walk today, really enjoyed it.
Make some more point free soup, its keeping me full up!
Here is to a Chinese free weekend. I hope. Or my points are down the drain! Regarding the chinese points list. I once emailed weight watchers to find out how much those points were for. *gulp* they are per 100g according the evil man at ww online. Can anyone at a class find out if that is right? I always counted my mushroom chowmein as 4.5 points for the whole thing
:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

I made some home made bread Sun Dried Tomato and Parmesan Bread today btw and according to the packet a 45g slice is 1.5 calories so I have just been weighing the slices as I have them. I thought it would be worth for you than it actually is......very yummy.
.
Now I am guessing that isnt't quite what you meant
Or I am going to buy some right nowGod is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day

WI this morning and despite a tricky week i am one pound down - hooray! i think all that trudging through the snow this week to work must have helped counter-act the extra points!
Going to the supermarket today with a meal plan and going to look out for some low point treats on the Eat Smart range. Must be careful as some of the ones I've seen so far flag themselves up as 1 point - and when you look at the small print it is 1 point for a little fraction of the pot! Am eating at a friends one night this week and out with friends on Friday night so need to keep on top of things.
Well done to all the losers. :T Christmas is behind us now, so lets get losing again!fran-o0 -
Hi Guys, I having been reading all your threads and you have been very inspirational especially with the recipe idea so I was hoping that someone might help me with Salmon. I'm not a big on fish and am clueless with how to cook it but thought I should try it.
Anybody out there who has a fav way of cooking their salmon would be most appreciated.
I have been with WW for 7 months and lost a stone which has been slow to come off, only another 3 to go.
Thanks for your thread it's great xx:beer:0 -
Just making some of the 0 point butternut and red pepper soup here, can't wait to taste it ! Will keep it in the fridge so that if I get peckish I can just help myself and not worry about the points !
Well done fran-0 too on the weight loss xx:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
we had salmon fillets last night. We added a pinch of salt and pepper and a slice of lemon on top of each fillet and wrapped them in foil. Put them in the oven for about half an hour and had them with lemon/herb potato wedges and green veg.
The wedge flavouring was brought from supermarket, just added to chopped up potatoes with a dash of oil. I guess boiled potatoes is healthier if you are low on points!
I too am fairly clueless with fish, this is how we always cook salmon!fran-o0 -
Salmon is best grilled and it tastes great with a bit of (low fat) creme fraiche and tea spoon of pesto as a sauce. Also I highly recommend a bed of steamed spinach and a small jacket potato or boiled potatoes... God i'm making myself hungry!0
