Sorry if this sounds silly but how many points is the whole loaf Venus? could you not just divide those pts by how many slices you make. x0

It does, however I never know how many sices that have been eaten, as there are other grazers in the house.
Thought someone might have an idea and save me the scratchy head maths lol.0 -
well i have run out of anything remotely healthy, and my car is headlight's deep in snow, i have just tried to shop at tesco online and they can't deliver until Sunday and then they wanted £5.50 for the privilege, so i shall have to forage around the freezer again  it's not helpingITV comp winner no 410

Hi again, Does anyone on the WW thread here make their own bread (using breadmaker) ?
I do and was wonder how to point it ? i've been doing it at 2pts a slice at the min cus my slicings a bit cr.a.p
I pointed out a medium size loaf (actually, it's called a large loaf, but the middle size, containing 475g of flour and 25g of flora light) and if there are 8 slices in a loaf which is about average, it's 3pts each slice (without having more butter on top, in which case it's 3.5) - much higher than normal bread because you slice it thicker (realistically you won't get more than 8 slices out of a loaf), but also because of the lack of preservatives etc!0 -

I keep meaning to but not got round to it yet. If you weigh the slice though that will help, apparently most bread is 3.5 points per 100g portion, the points only varies in low cal because it weighs less as it has more air in it.....so if you weighed it that would give you an idea? Hope this helps, I read it somewhere on the ww forums0 -
Surely you always have pasta in the cupboard or rice? You can make nice low (ish)-points dishes based on these if you have nothing else in! Don't let the weather be an excuse or you'll kick yourself in a few weeks when you have to lose the extra lbs you've put on!0
