Hi, i'm new to this forum, hope you don't mind me butting in!
I lost weight with WW and got to goal
last year (3 and a half stone). I managed really well with a sensible diet and reluctantly the gym and some walking. However due to a problem with my shoulder (which made me bite the bullet and lose the weight in the first place) I had to stop going to the gym for a while. I sort of made this an excuse for the odd pound increase. The of course we had Christmas and I went completely to pot. I wouldn't mind but I don't even think it was worth it! I have gained about 8lbs since I got to goal, so time to get back on track. I am feeling really motivated this morning and am hoping that being a member of a forum like this will keep me 'up there'.
I am going to the gym (arrgh) tonight. I have made a lovely healthy stew for tea.
I will plan for the rest of the week and hope for the best. (Then maybe when I've lost a few pounds on my own I'll pop back to WW. Don't want to go just yet else I'll have to pay!
Good Luck everyone. I hope I can make some nice new friends here!0 -
hello! I'm not following WW really but am healthy eating and need some support so I'm gegging in with you lot
Weighed in this morningHad 2 eggs and dry toast for breakfast instead of 2 x buttered and jam toast.
Went for a 15 minute walk. I want to lose the weight this time, rather than feeling I have to, so fingers crossed it works!

Hi All :hello:
This is me, back with a vengeance!! If someone could please chain me to the WW wagon and dispose of the key I'd be grateful...don't swallow the key though as I'm not sure how many points it would be
Well I had a FAB christmas and new year but i neeeeeeeed to get back on track!
Puds x
Puddings! Good to have you back on board!
Hi to all the newbies, good to have you along for the ride.
I am back on track after a monderately naughty Christmas. I was at 11 10.5 when I went home for Christmas and think I have probably put on 2lb. I think my next aim is to get to 11 7lb by valentines day. I know I am not going to be achieving the recommended loss per week but there are a lot of little obstacles on the way in the way of birthdays and parties and cinema trips etc and so I'd rather set a lower goal.
Here's hoping for tonight!God is good, all the time

Hey Puddings ! Welcome back xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  (that's not beer, it's water !!!
)
Focus sorry your Sunday didn't go well, hopefully today has been better for you. Have you got anything important coming up (wedding/birthday) you can aim for?
Lincs, welcome. Lots of lovely people here and advice. I've only been here a few weeks and find the support and motivation a godsend ! I'm sure you will too xx
Had a good day here, WI tonight and I've already seen my leader (she has kids at same school as mine) and I said she ought to weigh me last incase I break the scales :rotfl:.:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -

Lincs - great people on this thread, not sure about exercise with a knee injury but maybe walking or swimming to build up the strength again?
Peeps, I am HUNGRY!!!! My stomach better get used to not being fed constantly from morning till night soon
I will go to the gym tonight...I will I will I will!!!Really should be doing some work...0 -
Awwww shucks Sian, thanks xx ....... as I said in a previous posting, do as I say not as I do ! :rotfl:
I've been good since Saturday so definitely back on the wagon but like you puddings, I'm sooooooooooo hungry ! I keep having to go and find things to do to keep my mind off food .
I know it will pass though, a few more days and I'll be ok, just need to get used to eating little and often again instead of making a piggie of myself.
I spoke to my leader again at school pick up time and she said she knew someone who'd put on 18lb over the xmas break so I don't feel so bad ! It's quite astonishing how quickly it can pile on again .
Today's menu:
Brekkie - French Toast with Strawberries, bananas and honey drizzle
Snacks - apple, satsuma, 20g hazelnuts, 30g raisins and a small fairy cake
lunch - WW tin of soup, 3 finn crisp and 2 laughing cow triangles
dinner - jacket potato, 3 low fat sausages and baked beans with 0-point jelly and 1 scoop low fat ice cream for dessert
Milk - 1 point
Total should be (if I've added it up right, need to double check !) - 20.5. I'm allowed 25 points so will have to have something a bit later, either a WW cake or hot choc before bed.
I'll pop back later and let you all know how WI has gone:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
Brekkie - French Toast with Strawberries, bananas and honey drizzle
Oh this sounds good...ok so stupid question but I'm gonna ask anyway - how do I make french toast? I've never made it before but this sounds lush. Do you then just add chopped fruit to serve? Oh dear, I'm tragic!!!Really should be doing some work...0 -
Puddings, it's on the WW website, not sure if you've got access so here it is:-
It serves 4
1 medium egg
150ml skimmed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract/essence
4 med slices bread (crusts taken off)
low fat cooking spray
2 med bananas
225g strawberries
2 tsp icing sugar
4 tsp honey
Beat together egg, milk and vanilla. Cut slices of bread into triangles and dip in egg and milk mixture, leave to soak for a minute or two. Heat frying pan and spray with low fat spray. Add bread and cook on both sides until browned. Slice bananas and strawberries over each portion. Sprinkle with icing sugar and drizzle one tsp honey over each portion.
Can also use blueberries or any other fruit.
Points value is 3 per portion. Doesn't take too long to cook either and it was delicious ! Made a nice change from porridge
