I haven't eaten veg for almost 2 years. Well apart from peas, carrots and bananas because I can't eat any of it (nor fibre) and I'm still standing. I eat baby sized portions (like 11 peas and 3 slices of carrot) so can't call that five a day portions either!

I prefer raw vegetables rather than cooked - have you tried that **vikki**?

    Morning Peeps!

Day 1's gym session was a failure - it was too bl00dy cold to even contemplate getting undressed in the lovingly air conditioned changing rooms so I went home! Ooops...I'm thinking of changing my gym membership at the moment - I want to do classes and the current ones at Fitness First are boring me. Anyhoo..

Well done on the gain jtb - am impressed with the positivity in your post and the fact you even GOT on the scales! I'll update Saturday with my first WI.

    Welcome LindseyandMatthew :hello:

Vikki - I don't eat my 5 a day and I'm alive (not entirely sane but alive all the same) I do take a multivitamin though just in case.

Jtb thanks for the recipe - I do have access to the WW site, I really must check there more often. Actually the email they sent today has breakfast ideas on it and the french toast was in there - am going to try this at the weekend and also the pancakes with banana and nutella (sweet tooth!)

Am a bit unprepared today have a cereal bar and yogurt for breakfast, an eat smart (half price :money:) chicken tikka masala ready meal and a WW chocolate pot for lunch and not sure what dinner will be as I'll be in late tonight...

I go back to college (again) tomorrow evening so need to think of some snack ideas that I can take with me as I won't get home till nearly 10pm on Wednesdays.

Well must crack on with work and fill up my water bottle to get my water intake in my belly today!

    Puds x

Argh right I didnt go through with this first time so seeing as the £30 cashback and no joining fee was back I was determined to do it again! Lets hope I keep at it now!
I weigh 9st5lb, which prob doesnt seem alot but before my second son was born 5 months ago I was about 8st 3lb give or take. And I still cant get into any of the clothes I was wearing before I was pregnant! So I basically live in leggings as my thighs and hips are larger so none of my jeans or skirts etc fit.
I only want to lose about a stone so I can fit into all my lovely clothes!
WW worked out my points value at 18 a day. Does this mean I HAVE to use up the whole 18? Or is it ok to do less? Iv looked into some of the things I have during the day and alot of the days I dont make it to the 18, should I have some more wee snacks to make it up? Thanks girls! x

I've just seen the Quidco 3 month offer for WW (29.95 and £30 cashback). Are these online systems as good as going to the meetings? I'm quite shy and don't really like those slimming meetings - they always seem a bit cliquey. I'm concerned though that I won't get the same motivation online.

Hi Karen, yes you should eat all your points - they're worked out for a reason. However, you can carry up to 4 over each day so you can treat yourself one day/night but they must all be used by the end of the week - ie the next weigh in. Hope that helps :D I save a few each day for the weekend!

I had a friend who did online only and it worked for a while but then she lost motivation - I know that I NEED the meetings and WI to make me stick to the plan. I was very nervous about going to the meeting on my own (very shy person) but the leader was really lovely and the people were too! I guess it depends entirely on the individual though...

just to let you know if your going through quidco it doesn't take the £30 off just £20 .

I had a bad day yesterday , took ds to the cinema and fought the urge and resisted the popcorn but was starving by the time it finished , ds wanted mcdonalds and i just couldn;t resist ( its right next to the cinema) i restrained myself to a happy mean and had really low points last night so only went 1 over and probably earnt that with all the walking we did but it still felt awful afterwards :(

having a really low point day today to make up for it .

I do WW online, have been going just over three months and lost 17 pounds, so I am a happy customer. Renewed last week for another 3 months and aiming to lose at least another stone (hopefully one and a half).
I did worry about lack of motivation (without meetings) but keeping up with this thread has helped me stay on track (well except for the xmas lull!) and there are also forums on the ww online area.
Now is a good time to try if it is cheaper than usual - good luck!
