I've had a 100g bag of Jelly beans in the cupboard for 4 days now. I calculated it to 1.5 points for 25g, so figured Id eat them over 4 days...only had two servings but I still cant bring myself to have anymore-I want veg. Its all really weird to me. Ive also found out today that we are going to DS' godparents for Christmas as they came to ours last year. And because its a bit of a distance we're staying the night. Im very worried because she is my wl sabateur (I know she doesnt try to be intentionally), but she does cook traditionally from home, so cream in the beans and syrup in the carrots.I havent spoken to her yet and Im very nervous about broaching the subject. Of course I dont want her to cater to my whims, and I am taking the cake. But Im still not sure what to do-its all 0 points veg but because no one (including my DF and her) there are loads of high points additions to every vege dish.

OMG yes! DF worked today. He called on his way and asked if he could get some chips for him and DS. I said it was fine as I planned to have broccoli and cauliflower with cheese. I could have 80g of cheese for 5 points, leaving me 5 points over to have a bowl of ice cream (been hankering a while) when I weighed my cheese I used the veg peeler so I could get it right without having to take away. He went to take a slice of cheese off the plate, which was on the counter-I wasn't even looking but it was like this radar went on! I yelled at him to get his own s**ding cheese!!!
  • Well done to everyone on their losses :T We can do this together :D

I did that weekend but got the salmon, veg and a rather tasty looking apple pie which no doubt I won't be able to touch!

Just out of interest, when you go out to eat and point your food afterwards, how many more do you add on for oil/cream etc? I had sea bream and potatoes and veg, which is about 3 points on paper but I'm sure it was cooked in oil and butter and there was a creamy sauce (not too much though) so I'm adding on another 5 for this. Does this sound about right?
  • I ate one of the 'meals' from M&S for my tea tonight whilst watching the X Factor final. I had the Cajun chicken and roasted mediterranean vegetables - and it was bloody gorgeous! And for only 5.5points it was WELL worth it :D Super tasty! (Then I blew it by having my portion of the jam roly poly for 11points haha..but I managed to keep within my points allowance! magic!)

  • Well I was reasonably good this weekend but I have had a few snacky things as I have been baking, some mini-gingerbread men and some biscotti; just to try the wares so I know they are safe to give to other people you understand ;)

Tempted to miss my w.i. tonight as I don't think I have done very well but think it will keep me more accountable with all the cakes available at work if I do go... dilemma...

Well done all the losers this week!
