    Good luck Fran-o

I know what you mean about this thread, it motivates me so much.....I love it! Im out for dinner tomorrow at Loch Fyne - Im not sure how to point my food. Its from a set menu and I dont like fish to my choices were limited in a fish restaurent lol - everyone else we're going with loves fish

Chicken Liver Parfait with tomato chutney- Starter
Char-grilled Buccleuch rump steak with shallot confit - Main
Spiced apple tarte tatin with clotted cream -Pud - I wont eat the clotted cream though as not keen on it at all!

I guess I will have a better idea on what to point tmorrow once I see the size of portion and accompaniments but has anyone got a gut instinct? Other than a lot?

Oops-Ive gone over my daily today :o I had a beer with DF because he was supposed to go to his office christmas party-but he came home because we've had loads of people through our house the last two weeks and he said he would prefer an evening at home with me. I think he's feeling abit sour because they were told the other day that they wouldnt be getting bonuses or increases and the day after that they got invites to the do stating fairly boldly "employees only". He thinks its a bit of a cheek saying there's no money in the coffers to thank you for a job well done-but we'll let you drink a bit and maybe you wont hate us. Also, he thinks I deserve a do more than he does because he wouldnt be able to work the way he does if I wasnt holding up the fort...Bless.:A
Anyway, Im pretty tired so I think I'll be heading up the wooden hill shortly.
Hope you all have a fab weekend.

a 2lb loss for me this week- i am delighted as this means I have now officially lost 1 stone!
its been just over 2 months since i started so although it feels slow going at the moment I think i must be doing ok! I also have two pounds to lose for my christmas mini-goal (and three more after that to reach 10% loss) and so i am hoping that i can keep it going and reach the next target.
thanks for all your support :T

Focus thats amazing :T Ive added my points for today (the ones I plan to use) and have 2.5 to spare, plus I earned 2 activity points playing Wii tennis this mornng so that should fix it :D. I really felt like my Ouma (granny) this morning-I got up and made oats-in a saucepan-on the stove. I had it with a drizzle of honey and it was very yummy. I dont think Ive had oats since I moved here three years ago. I cant believe how good I feel today. I know that three days is not long to tell but even my migraines seem to have toned down a bit since yesterday so my bod must be feeling the difference.
    Cheeky how was your evening?
Fran we were cross posting-thats wonderful you got your stone-did you actually get a stone? I dont know if its all the groups but next our scales there's a bowl of those little blue decorative stones you get. And if you lose a stone you get to take one to encourage you. Its quite a sweet idea. The funny thing is...there's a sign in the bowl that says "lost a stone? Take a stone...Do not eat"
