how lovely to log back on and see your messages!
I know what you mean about clothes, I feel like I have a little more confidence clothes shopping. Having said that I have got a christmas party this week and no idea what to wear. I have a pink sparkly top from two years ago I might just fit back into! Am not trying not to buy new clothes at the moment, just fit back into my oldies! Just eaten a yummy dinner and might have an extra point left for something sweet!fran-o0 -

Ooh, it's nice to see the board picking up a little at the moment.
I had a great day with my mum and dad and was quite reserved foodwise; the indian restaurant seemed more healthy with smaller naans than usual and no creamy sauce. My Mum also noticed that I had lost weight which felt really goodGod is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day

Its like i can eat whatever i want but my brain is now calculating the points of everything and trying to balance out all my points throughout the day. Morning All,
Hope we are all having a good weekend. I have just caught up with the post.
Vikki- Thanks for the Pts update.
Superfran - Welcome I' a newbie too, on day 4 now. With regards to the Pts I think you need to stick to as close to your point allowance at the start so when you loses begin to slow you can cut back on something. If you are struglling you could always drink more winelol. But is up to the individual so if you see that it s working then carry on.
Polkadot - I too seem to be a career dieter so hope this will be on last one. Also when i went to meeting on thursday I too was very excited, I just have to be careful when the excitment wears off as thats when i start to lose it.
Having had 2 really good first days and going for a bike ride yesterday we ended up in the pub and then went for a curry  Was yum though, I have pointed everything and I will have to save a few points over the next few days before my weigh in but I have absolutley no guilt about it as I was/ am in control :T
Its a start

Hello everyone
Cheeky glad you had a good evening.
STG wonderful that your mum noticed. Thats one of the things that I miss-when I was on sureslim and my parents started noticing, my mum would go out and buy me a smaller blouse or something to let me know they'd noticed. But they're in South Africa and I sometimes think its made it easier for me to put the weight back on.
SHWA I completely get what you say about the excitement-but I find that it applies to most things in my life, not just weight loss.
We had friends round last night for the night (plus we have DF's best mate here from Skipsea). We had a barbecue (or since only saffers were in attendance-a braai:D)I had two chicken breasts, a small roll and some tomato and onion gravy. I didnt point it because I thought it might be better for me to weight for my meeting to make sure Ive given myself enough. I did spend some time on the ww site yesterday, searching out the current regulars in our house-was pleasantly surprised to see that most of the stuff is reasonably low points. I think my biggest problem is that my eating patterns are just too erratic to be healthy.0
