bottom right hand corner - chicken salad. If it's about the size of your palm it's about 200g.;)

you will never get the points accurate, but imho it's the safest bet on that menu of 'platters' and 'look how big the platter is' type fare.;)

  • Thats what im planning on having, because if I have it without dressing itll just be the chicken in theory that i need to point. Will put all the chicken together to try point it lol
  • oh and the pasta, I didnt see that lol

hello - nice to see all the newbies on the thread - good luck!
it was a 1 point loss for me today - another little step in the right direction. Weight loss seems to have slowed for me, mainly as I've found it hard to stick to lower points, but at least I'm still going in the same direction!

Really excited today as we have confirmed our wedding venue and date - Jan 2011 - so I am looking to start trying on wedding dresses in the spring!! Would love to be lighter just to have more choice on the dresses! I started WW as a definite size 18, I think I am more of a 16 now (lost almost a stone), hoping to be a 14 before i try on the dresses! Not hoping - PLANNING!

Have a lovely weekend all x

i think the easiest to point would be the steak, jackpot and salad (minus dressing) - all the others you have no idea on what could be hiding, or how its been cooked

you know the weight of the steak, a potato is fairly easy to guestimate, and the salad should be free

chicken and pasta salad, could contain way more points, and not be as filling

  • Change of plan the menu varied slightly when I got there it had a salads section, think it had changed since the one on the website as no healthy choices bit, however the salads had calories by them, I had a 4oz Steak salad which came with a wholemeal pitta bread-small, lettuce, cucumber and tomato and dressing. It said on the menu 310 calories - obviously didnt say saturated fats on there so still a bit stuck. I did ask for no dressing but it was on there :-( still it was just balsamic vinegar and tasted yummy so now the difficulty of how to point it??
  • Ok so trying to point

    4oz Rump Steak - 2 pts
    Salad - 0 pts
    Balsamic Vinegar - ??
One sachet of Mayonaise so about a tbsp - 2 - oooops! Didnt even need it grrr
    Wholemeal Pitta - 2 pts??
