have just enjoyed a ww sausages in cider gravy with vegetable mash, bit pricy £1.99, but i would have it again, sometimes it is nice to just not think about the point's in everything and have it done for you
I live off the WW meals, but only when they're on offer! I am not paying £2 for a tiny meal lol x0 -
I think a lot of the ww meals do well because when they point it up they don't count the 'free' foods in it like veggies, whereas when you look at other ready meals you look at the calories and fat which won't mean you get those things 'free'. The tesco lighter choices stuff is pretty good and has points values on it though I think you get more for your points by filling your plate with veggies and having less meat and carbsGod is good, all the time

Well for my tuppence worth - I find WW meals are mainly YUCK!! To me they all taste like pepper. The only one I like is WWFH Sweet Chilli Chicken. And aside from that they are expensive. I like the Asda GFY and Tesco LC much better value and much tastier, I've also been getting some Sainsburys BGTY - I'm loving their spinach and ricotta canelloni. Own brands always seem to have offers on them too. I don't eat many ready meals but I keep a couple in the freezer for 'emergencies' or when I know I'll be in late.
I don't cook from scratch either thoughalthough have batches of chilli (3.5) and chicken casserole (5.5) in the freezer (Colmans packet mixes) that are now my 'ready meals' that I made up at the weekend.
Also when I buy non WW stuff as I put it away I point it on my calculator and mark the points on the box/jar/whatever in perm pen so its all ready for the week and I dont have to think too much..
Gailey - take the baby to the meeting with you, we have loads of kids at our meetings of all ages and its absolutely fine. Go to the meeting, sign up for monthly pass at £17.95, pick up your personal file which will have all the details in and the points quiz (also all online when you get your pass) There is no 'treat list' you can eat/drink anything and everything as long as you work out the points for it (I recommend getting a WW calculator) and after a while you'll get to know the things you eat regularly off by heart. You can always always ask us for any help you need
I don't half waffle when I get on here...Really should be doing some work...0 -
Ooh my colleagues got jumbo caramel snack a jacks - mmmmm can't stop eating them! I've had 2 so far...0.5 each.
Must add to shopping list.
Also, I've been having muffins (the ones you toast) for breakfast, went to get one this morning and they're all mouldy!! And not just a bit of mould but covered in it, they were fine yesterday morning!! The last batch I bought I put in the freezer but they went mouldy too! I just can't eat a pack of 6 all by myself :-( so have had crumpets instead - they seem to freeze ok.Really should be doing some work...0 -
hi all i'm on my 6th week of ww and have lost 9.5lbs.

I think the danger with just eating WW meals is that you end up, if you stop doing it, going back to your original habits. I think it is good to look at how to 'remodel' existing meals you eat, e.g. when you make a spag bol use more tomatoes, some extra veggies, use frylight on the pan etc...
I think I may have said this before but I will repeat for Louisa and for my own mudded brainI have been using half the fat in cake recipes and using apples, cooked through in the microwave and mashed up as half the weight, I don't think you can tell the difference. I posted a recipe for 'Millie's style' cookies on another thread that you could make, really easy and 2 1/2 points each, a lovely treat if you don't eat half the mixture raw when you are making it! he he
Congratulations on the excellent weigh loss so far, really good work!
