  • Hi all! My names Melissa and Im 19 -I only joined this forum today but thought I'd join in! Ive been doing Weight Watchers since mid August and have lost 2 stone and 13 lbs! I am a bit obsessive about what I eat now but its going well an very pleased! I started out at 12 stone 2 and am now 9 stone 3! Due to my working hours though the only time I get to eat is in the morning (Special K mmmm!) and in the evenings (WW meal mmmmmm again!) Lol I also do 30 mins exercise in a morning on my stepper machine (£20 from Argos!! Bargain) Lol :-) Anyway just thought I would introduce myself, seems like a v nice place to chat! xx

  • Thanks! :D It is all Im eating at the moment, and sometimes I load my plate with veg along with my WW meal but I feel bad now if I eat anything else! I was losing between 4 and 2 lbs a week, but last week I started using the stepper thing and only lost 1lb? So Im not sure if its turning my fat into muscle so Im guna give it another try this week and see how much I lose. Once I get down to my 8st 7lbs then Im going to start eating normally but healthy.
  • Hi, i've been doing ww at home - lost 1 1/2 stones so far. Just joined a meeting in town to get some inspiration. Currently weighting 12st 4lb:mad:. really want to lose more weight for xmas, determined not to be fat this year!!!

    Melissa - is that really all you're eating all day, Special K and a ready meal? How many points does that actually come too?? If that really is all you're eating all day thats probably about 10 points!!! If thats correct then no wonder you've lost all that weight and also no wonder it will slow down/stop...please do let us know.

    That is all Ive been eating on a normal day, sometimes I have soup for dinner or extra salad or loads of veg with my meals, Ive only just started the exercising though to help increase the weight loss again because I feel so dissapointed now when I get on the scaled and only lost 2lbs! Im not too sure what my target weight is though, maybe 8 stone. I really want to go to WW meetings to find out what else Im able to eat, but I work from 10am untill 7:30pm so dont really have the time which is a pain in the bum really! x

    Youre weight loss will slow down if you don't eat enough, your body will go into starvation mode:eek: read through some of the posts on here that give points values etc or try http://ukladyluck1.piczo.com/mcdonalds?cr=5&linkvar=000044 for points values. You are certainly not eating enough. You will only put it back on when you begin to eat normally again. Oops didn't mean to link you to macdonalds thread lol but there are other GOOD pages on the site!!

    Melissa - I agree with Hollowhead you are NOT eating enough!! If you continue eating like that you will stop losing weight as you are finding out.

    You MUST work out your daily point allowance properly and stick to it every day. WW reduce your allowance by 1 point every time you lose a stone or change age brackets for a reason - to keep you losing weight, there is method in their madness! I think you are technically starving yourself right now and eventually your body (and its starting to) will realise and cling on to as much as it possibly can as it knows its not getting any more fuel - you need fuel to exercise too!

    Well done on your weightloss so far but you need to do it sensibly now pleeeeeeeease!
    Really should be doing some work...
