  • Ellie, don't feel defeated, that is a great thing, losing even half a pound a week will get you into that dress by Christmas! I wonder if you could get yourself something you can eat on the way into work, or make something like a healthy muffin you can grab on the way out of the house. I tend to have a bagel that I eat at traffic lights if I don't get chance for a healthier breakfast. Snack bars are not ideal but it would be better than grabbing something worse...

Keep your chin up though, you are on the right track and will get there if you keep going!

in last weeks the Your Week leaflets we get at meetings had a great idea for breakfast.. making porridge in the slow cooker over night so matter what time you get up you have a hot breakfast..

i think this is a brill idea as the 3 of us get up at different times in this house but we could all have a filling breakfast and you can then add to it what you want.. my daughter loves sugar on hers but it wont affect mine when you can take it out the pot individually ..

im going to start doing this every morning once my daughter back off half term im even looking for another slow cooker just for this and keep my bigger one for meals..

I love the Your Week you get at meetings because they give you some good pointers that you might otherwise not think of..

I've got my 3rd weigh in tonight and feeling quite optimistic ! I put on 1 1/2 last week but we were away for the weekend and it was one of those times where there is no 'healthy eating' involved ! I didn't make a piggy of myself and did plenty of walking so I think that helped. Was also TOTM so I was half expecting to put on 5 or 6lb !

Agree about the 'Your Week' booklets jockettuk ........ can give some great ideas !

Hope everyone has a good week xxx

only half a lb off this week here too :( although though it would be touch and go as have had two very big night outs this week and lots of sweet stuff to try and ease a sore throat/cough coupled with no exercise. Hopefully a good week this week to make up for it.

    Well done guys! :T

I'm lurking till I'm back on track...I won't bring you all down with me!

Although I will update you on bootcamp as it's finished now - over the 4 weeks I lost 6 1/4 inches, took 1 minute 13 seconds off my mile time trial and added 22 press ups to 'how many press ups can you do in a minute'.

    Puds x
Really should be doing some work...

    Hi everyone

Well, I'm back from my WI and I'm 4lb lighter !! :j 9lb in total so well on target for my stone before Xmas.

Next week should be a good week but the week after I'm going to Copenhagen with the Guides so won't have any control over what type of food I eat - can only try to limit the damage and not have too much of a good thing  and do plenty of walking.
