  • Hi guys

    Welcome Finding and Immy.

Well I went for my weigh in on Monday and los 21b :j:j. That's total 241b now. Feeling a lot better but still have a long way to go. I too am good all day and then suffer with the munchies when the kids are in bed.

That's 41b towards my santa target thingy.

    xx

    Hi all

Had a great first day yesterday (don't we all ! lol) I did struggle to eat my points though  and I'm wondering whether I calculated my points right !

I am quite active during the day (I sit down at work but I'm always getting up and down from my desk) and I walk DS to school and back every day too. Then busy doing H/W when I get home and weekends are spent down the allotment so busy digging etc. I counted 2 points for this (mainly standing but occasionally sitting I think) - does that sound right or should I cut them out if I'm struggling to eat them. I have 26 points in total and it just seems like a lot - I was having to find things to eat last night to use them up !

Having the turkey spaghetti recipe thingy tonight that I found on the website - kids will eat that too so a bonus !

Nice to hear about all your losses - keep up the good work ! :T

  • hi jtb,
sounds about right to me. just double check the points list to be on the safe side. i dont get points extra as i sit at a desk all day and barely move. need to get that wi on later.

my leader always says to make sure you have all your points unless you have a special event that week and need to save a few. make sure portion sizes are correct- i used to guess and wondered why i didnt lose!!!!!
if you are struggling to get them in try spacing extra through out the day- plan in advance. im only on 20 and could eat a house at the mo...and still at least an hour til lunch. least if im chatting on here it stops me nibbling...think you make all get sick of hearing from me..

    tata hope it helps

Thanks findingmyfeet. I double checked and definitely allowed 26 points :T. I ate loads yesterday and was still 4 under ! (2 weetabix, milk, banana, WW bar, tuna & sweetcorn pasta, yoghurt, chicken casserole mash n green beans, slice of toast with marmite - all weighed, counted and measured as per book). I think I'll just eat bigger portions for the moment and use up some of my points that way, otherwise I'll be eating constantly  ! lol

I'm only just over a threshold with my weight so if I have a good loss this week I'll already be losing a point .

I've got the next 4 days planned out so ok on that score.

I like the theory ........ typing on here = stops nibbling :D ...... probably be sick of me too then :rotfl:.

    hi all

i missed my WI at lunchtime as got caught up when i was out and didnt make it back in time but just checked on line and will go out in an hour to another local class.. probably put on weight as its later in the day but dont want to miss a class..

My trick to beat the munchies and nibbles is to eat , crushed ice.. I buy one of those bags from the supermarket and hit it with a rolling pin and sit with a bowl of this .. i suck on some and crunch the rest.. my body thinks im eating my jaw is moving up and down lol and it helps towards my daily allowance of water intake..

its just basically putting something in your mouth and eating but its nil points..

will post later my WI results

  • I've got a lot of points, I've got 39 a day! I averaged 28 last week. I could easily eat more, but feel like that is being naughty, despite it being within points. Aiming for a higher average this week, don't want to make my body panic. I get 10 extra for breastfeeding, but that will go down soon as LO will start having a bit of solids.
