I joined two weeks ago. The first week I lost 1lb but this week I lost 3lb. I think it's because I cycle to and from work now with weather permitting which is approx 12 miles a day :D

Are any of you on the WW online forums?
  • Well done to the losers too haha! Nope I'm just on this forum, but if people want we could all meet up on facebook? I think some of the guys on here already have been in touch that way :) x x x x x

    me too!

just signed up tonight, have been thinking about it for a while now though.

Not getting any lighter but going to Orlando at Crimbo, so would be much more comfortable if I lost some weight before we go!

Will have to lose the weight or hubby will go nuts - it will take a while to track on Quidco so I'm £29.95 down, need to lose some fat pounds to make up for the money pounds.

Their website is a bit of a mish mash, but I'm sure I'll find my way round it soon.

Well Saturday am and ready for my first WW weekend.
Have had crunchy nut cornflakes for breakfast and feel a bit bad after SW reconditioning me not to eat such things. Well worth 2.5 points!

For the benefit of Moneysaving and Waist trimming I will spend my saturday clearing out the kitchen cupboards and writing the points values on all the jars and packets and hopefully come up with some kind of meal planner for next week.

PUDDINGS - I'm a bit late but can I please join the Santa Slim? I would like to lose 14lbs so about 1.5lbs per week. Thanks

Sorry for the essay but for anyone going it alone who have not seen the offer quidco are offering £30 cashback at the moment making a £29.95 3 month online subscription effectively free (or 5p profit!). Offer is iin the left hand menu on quidco home page. Worth a try
  • I had a bit of a binge last night. Sat down and worked out points this morning, and I had 58.5 points yesterday! I'd saved 25 so far this week so I hope that it'll be okay. Shall try and be good today and tomorrow.

I really didn't want to sit down and right it all down, I thought it would be unsalvageable. As it turns out, I think I can (just!) about stick to points this week. Weigh-in is Sunday, so I hope it isn't too near that to affect it much.

  • oh thats great about ww online & quidco - try to sign up now - ww website is taking forever to load!

i have not been too good this week - still struggling to get my a**e in gear! i seem to start the week really motivated then after a few days i think whats the point!! last time round i dont know where i got the drive from! i am just so lazy at the mo!

had a night out last nite - huge dinner followed by trio of creme brulee and at least 2 bottles of rose wine! eek! i hate to even think of the points content!

anyway i really 100% am gona try properly this week and try to use the cross trainer a few days this week - i know once i get into the routine il be grand! its just getting there thats the hard part!

sorry for rant but reading it back makes it kinda sink in a bit more! defo gona try and keep a diary so i dont torture you guys so much lol!!

I signed up for the WW/Quidco offer to try and lose a bit before Xmas. I can have 22 points which seems ok ish. Would love to lose a stone before Xmas and do a couple of decent exercise classes a week - just need to make sure I am not undoing all that benefit by eating rubbish the rest of the time!

Ive never done anything like this before so I was wondering if it is worth getting the books etc that you would get if you went to a real life class?
The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese
  • hey jess - i dont go to classes but just joined online 2day - i buy the ww mag every month - if you wnated recipe books etc you could try amazon or ebay but i personally dont think you need the stuff from classes if you are online aswell.

just wondering if anyone know where i would find some ww no or v. low point soups? goin do my shoppin online 2day/2moro and want to get enough ingredients to do diff batches of soups! tomato & basil or roasted red pepper would be a good easy start!

after joining ww online i have just made myself some sweet potato wedges for only 2 points - that will be my lunch. i am only allowed 17 points so defo ditching the alcohol and takeaways for a good wee while!
