    Hi all

Just dropped in to see how everyone is getting along....a big well done to those of you who have lost, and a big keep going to anyone who's had a gain this week. It can be really disheartening when you've worked really hard at it and then you gain. Not fair!

I've had no meeting this week as I go on a Monday evening and it was cancelled for the bank holiday. As I do monthly pass it was suggested I go to another meeting this week, but the only one nearby was at 9.30am...now, I don't know about you guys but I weigh much lighter in the mornings, so I don't think I'll do that then. Would hate to have a 'good loss' only to 'put it back on' next week. I weighed myself at home at my usual time and have lost 2lb! I've lost 6lb, hopefully it'll be over 7lb next week. I'm sure it'd come off much quicker if I was a bit more careful about my pointing!

Hope you all have a great week - don't know about you, but the weather makes me not want to eat so much....

    Take care
    D.

I have just got back from weigh-in. I have stuck this week so I am a bit disappointed, but on the other hand it could have been a lot worse.

I am really going to try harder this week - no burgers and a bit less wine.

    Anyway good luck everyone.

Hi there, been to my meeting tonight and I've lost 4 pounds!

I'm actually amazed as I picked a really bad week to start - I had a deadline an d I've been working away at the computer til the wee small hours and not really had time to look at the core plan properly.

Anyway well done to those who've lost and comiseration to those who haven't.

Does anyone know how much the WW electric scales are? I've got the £5 voucher that you get but it doesn't tell you the actual price.

Also has anyone bought the cook! cookbook if so is it worth it?

hi, well done on the weight loss

as for the scales, i think they are expensive, around £30 - £40 for them, i just use normal non ww kitchen scales, and they work just as well, they are digital ones and it only cost me £12 from argos!

as for the cook it book, i love my copy, have made a few things out of it and would recommend it, i also like the nice and spicy one that was released a couple months ago in limited numbers

just a tip, if you want ww cook books all of them (except the newer Cook!) one are on amazon for a decent price, and can also be picked up cheaply on ebay

also if you want receipts the monthly mag is worth gettiung as there is usually dozens of them every month, and it is cheaper if you buy it at meetings than in the newsagents

Thanks anna42, I bought a pretty old WW cookbook at Oxfam for 79p!
It's actually pre- points it's so old.

I do need some decent kitchen scales so I'll see what I can get shopping around.
