Hi
I'm joining tomorrow (very daunted) and will keep my target to a stone for now
Hope to report some success soon,

hi all
I joined up on saturday, for the third and last time. am doing the monthly pass
I have done slimming world a few times too but think i need portion control so am doing the points plsn. Also i don't want my eating plan to annoy bf too much so I think ww is better fitting in wth our routine - I cook heathly i just eat and drink too much (and add chocolate too)
I have 19 points a day and I have been eating every single point! even if i'm not that hungry i feel the need to eat them anyway.....
It is probably the worst time to join but I have putting it off for too long. its my birthday on the 6th and i'm moving on the 8th!!!Had a thrifty wedding 17-06-10
expecting triplets in Jul/ Aug 2012 :eek::eek::eek::grinheart:grinheart:grinheart0 -
I will be weighing in again on Tuesday and I've signed up for the monthly plan. I like the little graph you can have on e source to show your weight loss. I'm on 22 points but need to stick to 18 tomorrow to make up for the extras I ate on a meal out on Thursday!0

I was wondering whether any of you good people could help? I've picked up the ww shoppping and eating out books at a car boot as my OH was wanting to try it, but cant afford to join. How many points would he need to eat he's 5.4 and weighs 12.5 stone and is most of the info he needs in these books or is he best to dig deep into his pockets and actually go?!0

Hi everyone
Hope you're all doing well....me, I gained a lb this week, despite sticking to my points like glue. On the other hand, I've stepped up my exercise effort to 5x per week, including running, and I've lost 1.5 inches off my waist and my body fat has decreased by 2%. My leader thinks this weight gain is due to a bit of water retention, and also due to my muscle mass (ha ha!) going up.
Jennet1 Might be worth OH going along - at least for the first session - as he'll get his books, etc, etc. They're still doing free registration at the moment (until 24 May)...voucher available from the website here so all he'll have to pay is the meeting fee (which I think is £5.50 - I do monthly pass, so I haven't paid for a few weeks, it might have gone up). The shopping and eating out guides are really good, but I found the tips in the first few books really useful. You could check out eBay - I just sold my At Home pack for a couple of pounds (it was from 2005 and contained all the same information as my new books).
Hope everyone else is doing OK, and that you're all getting the losses you deserve.
Take care
D.
PS: Really yum soup recipe....roast some tomatoes with a dash of olive oil, herbs of your choice (I used rosemary). Once cool, put these in a saucepan with some stock - I used vegetable, but any will do - and some onion cooked in fry-light. Bring to boil and simmer for 10 mins or so. Blitz in a food processor and you'll have a tomato soup to rival Heinz, which will be low/zero in points - depending on how much oil/how many portions. I shared mine between 4, used 1tsp olive oil on the tomatoes and counted each portion as zero.0 -
