  • The Phish Food frozen yogurt is half price in Tesco at the moment!

Spotify is a programme you download that lets you listen to pretty much anything for free. You need to listen to some adverts occasionally but it is a brilliant thing.

I have soooo much junk to take to Leeds, I need to decant all my alcohol which is in glass but it is still going to weigh a tonne. I am going to be on the Malibu and Diet Cokes - 1/2 a point each, bargain points!

I think I have pretty much everything I need, I managed to find my torch so now all I need is a fold up chair and some insect repellant :)

Well done to everyone on their losses, I will miss my weigh in on Monday so will have a few days to get back on the waggon.

    Have a great few days!

Well I lost 2 pounds this week. Im so pleased with that. This next week is going to be tough though. Ive got my sister and Mum coming for the weekend and we alsways drink lots of wine! Oh well. Hopefully, i'll manage to stick to my points...
I'm planning on doing lots of walking so that should help.
    Good luck everyone.

    yay well done jak!

i went to my weigh in tonight and have lost 4.5 lbs (over 2 weeks)- well chuffed as i have definitely had some 'naughty' days!
  • Well done Jak and Katy! Woop high 5s!!! Brilliant when you can have naughty days and still lose weight (fingers xd I can get away with it this week)...

I've ditched the duck for my big family lunch tomorrow - had a practice with it the other night and it was an unmitigated disaster. The flames were licking the cooker hood lol! Now got to think of something else to cook for 6 people gaaaahhhh! Quite stressed about this, don't know what to cook! (Anyone got any ideas not involving dairy?) But it'll be great fun on the day. Just drink lots of wine...

  • Hi to all! I was just having a browse and found this thread. I started weightwatchers in April this year. I weighed in at 17stone 4.5lb I am 5ft 8". As of sat 22nd August I weighed exactly 15stone! I am so pleased with myself and my motivation is high, theres no motivation like seeing the weight drop off at each weigh in, that and the fact that I'm getting married on 26th June 2010!! I simply have to be a size 12 by then! When I started I was a size 22 and thats the biggest I've ever been, I am now in between an 18 and a 16! I asked my doctor for a referal to weight watchers as I was so down and depressed about my size, (which in turn made me eat more) he gave me a referal letter and I received my free WW vouchers within the next 7 days. I have to lose 5% of my weight per book of vouchers to continue going free, which I have done. I hoe I can continue to do so as it really is saving me a fortune! I have 5 weeks left of vouchers in this book and only 3lb to lose to get to my next 5%. Easy! lol. Best of luck to you all on your weight loss journey, and well done to those of you who have lost! :j:D

hummmm PS... can you not just substitute the duck for a big chicken or something? :D
  • Hi Katy and thank you. Can't wait til tomorrow morning, it's my weigh in at 10am and also my day off the diet, so I can't wait for my well deserved sausage sarnie then later i'll be having a lovely lamb kebab!! mmmmmm :p

Ah Bluebell, don't we just LOVE the after-WI-days-off! Welcome to the board you have done fantastically with your weightloss!! I look forward to more motivation from you :D

    Congrats Jak and Katy :j

Lol at Katy's 'big chicken' suggestion - don't know why it just tickled me! But a chicken is what I would have suggested.

I had dinner made for me the other night - it wasn't healthy :o but you could make a healthy version. It was chicken breast (whole) cooked in a tin of chicken soup with a little cream and mayo with curry powder added. I'm guessing we could use extra light mayo and LF creme fraiche or something but it was delicious! I'm told it was an accidental recipe!

Well, you won't hear from me for a while cos I'll be up at Nanna's from this evening but I'll roll back in Wednesday in need of motivation to get the weight off! She's told me she's stocked up - I'm thinking cheese straws, dairylea dunkers and lunchables and swiss roll - basically everything I liked when I was 8! I can read the board on my mobile but its too fiddly to reply but I'll be checking up on you all!

I'm going to make a real effort when I get back and get this last stone off before Xmas. I've even found a boot camp I'm going to sign up to - 1 hour, 3 mornings a week for 4 weeks - to get me back into the swing of things!

    Oh I'm feeling sluggish already...

Hope you all have FAB Bank Holiday weekends  what with festivals, family and food we'll all be back on the wagon with a vengeance next week!

    Puds x
