What nice nanas you guys have lol! My grans, both of them, have absolutely no problems with telling me how fat I look - they do this every time they see me, although after my first weight loss one of them did say I was looking better which was nice. This doesn't stop them trying to feed me though...
Hope you had a lovely lunch Puddings, thanks for letting me know about the harvester NVs (good news) and I hope your head is better.

yummymommy wrote: »Thanks Pudding. Oooh butternut squash chips ??? How do you make them and how many points are they ?????
They are zero points :j I peel the BNS, chop in half lengthways and scoop out the seeds, then chop into chip shapes. Spray with oil and bung in the oven, delicious!! I live on them!princessscotland wrote: »What nice nanas you guys have lol! My Gran (Dads side) is the complete opposite to my Nanna; she will happily tell me I have a big bum on a regular basis..my Aunt will too. And when I say actually I've lost X amount of pounds, she says 'to be more careful' oh dear. I like going to my Nannas thoshe tells me I'm looking really good and last time said i was a credit to the family
Had a lovely lunch that got rid of my headache and I treated my friends so they were happy too. Yeay. :A
Welcome back Vikki, we missed you!
Bulchy I'm 'in the zone' so I can plan happily for restaurant visits, its hard though with the delicious pudding menus!! I try not to look but I love a bit of 'food !!!!!!'! :rotfl:5 fish fingers - yep starving!!
I am sitting in a 5 hour meeting taking the minutes..little do they know! Tummy is rumbling away too!!
Puds xReally should be doing some work...0 -
Thanks for that Pudding, they sound lovely and will give them a try over the weekend.
Oh nooooooooooo had a really bad night last night - the first one in eight weeks ! I ate and ate and ate - mostly chocolate. It's a hormonal thing if you know what I mean. Feel really dissapointed with myself today and hope I haven't undone too much hard work. Looks as though I'll have to work hard this week just to stay the same.:mad:The past is over & done & cannot be changed. I think sometimes your body just needs it! Probably about every 2 or 3 weeks I can eat and eat and eat and NOTHING satisfies me. A bit of exercise plus a bit of clawing back goes a long way!Really should be doing some work...0

Don't be too hard on yourself yummymommy, there's a good chance you'll get away with it and it's really good you got to eight weeks without going mad!
I have gone UP a belt notch (maybe slightly more) the past few days!! I've been so good, just don't understand. TOTM doesn't really explain it either, don't usually put on weight or fluid. Bah! Have to miss weigh-in tonight so will have unofficial weigh in at home later...0 -
Hi yummy mummy, each pound of fat is 3500 calories so you have to eat 3500 extra a week to put that much on or eat 3500 less a week to lose it. If you took all your calories whilst following the points plan the chances are you would have a 'buffer' which would mean you were still in the stays the same bracket. Maybe take a walk or something to counteract that sluggish feeling but other than that I wouldn't beat yourself up about it, we all need a treat every now and again, I would rather be curvy and happy than skinny and miserableGod is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day

Thanks Princess and Puddings. I don't feel so bad now ! why is it though that we know what we are doing and how we feel if we go of the rails but we just go ahead and do it anyway.
Princess - good luck for your "unofficial" weigh in tonight !
Sian - Phew that's nice to know. I did go off the rails but definately didn't eat 3,500 calories over my allowance. Hopefully will be walking tonight after work. Break up today for 2.5 weeks so will exercise like mad and then cross fingers and toes for weigh in on Monday !! At least I've got the chocolate craving out of the way now !:T

Well I did my firsy weigh in yesterday morning and lost 5 lbs!!!! Im so chuffed. I even went out twice this week and counted my points and everything- went slightly over 1 day but got it back the next. DH however, put ON 1 lb! We did have a 'last supper' Indian the night before we started tho so maybe it's that for him? I had a dry tandorri thing so mine wasn't as bad.
Has anyone else ever put weight on in their first week? He followed the plan and was very disapointed!
Anyway, i'm hoping to lose 3lbs this week. Wish me luck!
