    Hmm, where is everyone??

I'm going to Frankie and Benny's Friday night - the night before early morning WI!!!!!!! AAAGGGGHHHHHHHH!

I HAVE to be good: am going to have Mozz and Tomato Salad for 7 points followed by Salmon Fishcakes with a Jacket Spud for 11. I will not I will not I will not have a pudding no I won't...oh their pudding menu looks so good - I shouldn't have looked, curse the internet!

On an angelic note, my mum wanted chip shop chips last night and I drove her there to get some and didn't get anything for myself :-)
Really should be doing some work...

Well after a week of eating whatever I wanted on holiday I have put on one and a half, not so bad but still annoying, especially when the lady from work I go with has lost way more altogether than me, terrible really but I would like to keep up with her! Do you think I could lose that all in one week? Would be good to get back on track

Hope everyone else is doing well.
I would say yes, you could easily do it, if you can go on holiday and just put on one and a half you've done really well, so loosing it again should be do-able, good luck to you.

That must have been hard for you, just the smell would have tempted me to cave in.
I've just popped in to see if I can get some inspiration.DD, is on a driving lesson, then has to dash in, have something to eat, then dash out to work, 7 hour shift, I want to a) prepare something for her to eat before work and b) prepare something for her to take to work for her break. Any ideas??

    Hot or cold?

My 'work' snacks include Go Ahead Fruit Slices, Frazzles, Oaty Bars, WW cookies, apples..

I have pasta again for lunch today - I find it really filling so it lasts till I'm home!

I might be too late to help so I hope you got something yummy ready for her - she's a lucky girl :-)

    hey everyone!

i have done a little bit of lurking on this thread as i am starting weight watchers tonight :)

my goal is to lose around 2 stone- no specific time frame for that though!

i am a bit nervous as i am big on comfort eating (if you'll pardon the pun )

anyway, just wanted to introduce myself as i'm sure i'll be here a lot over the coming weeks!

well, i went!! i weighed in at 12st 6.5lbs and said my target is 10% which is 17lbs. which i believe would be 11st 3.5lbs.

having said that, i'd rather be about a stone less than that eventually! but small steps eh.

i feel a bit worried because i have a humungous appetite and love to cook and eat food. i tried weight watchers before uni and went from 10st 7.5lbs to 9st 10lbs. but obviously moving into my own place and being in charge of my own food hasn't been a huge success! i cook decent meals. i just eat about 3 human portions and supplement it all with chocolate buttons.... (instead of being the stereotypical student, spending money on booze, i spent it on yummy things like steaks and mozzarella balls. oh dear!)

i think i need a pep talk! *looks hopeful* :o
