    Hi All,

    WARNING: Mammoth post coming up!

I'm back! I'm REALLY back this time, Monday I wasn't ready but Saturday I woke up in the right frame of mind and went back to WI - 3lbs on but considering I had braced myself for 7-10lbs from the last 2 weeks of face stuffing I'm really pleased :j

Well done dancingbutterfly and Hollowhead :T

Suze if there's any points we can help with just 'shout' :D I generally log on daily :p and I'm getting quite anal in my points knowledge..

So, my recent finds! Go Ahead Fruit slices are 3 points for the pack of 3 slices. Which is great news, they are sweet, take ages to eat and are really filling. A great breakfast on the go I think too. Also the small Pizza Express Margherita from Tesco is 9 points for the whole thing - add some 0 point toppings like mushrooms and YUM!

For lunch for the next, er, 3 days I have WW stuffed pasta. They come in 2 portions at 4.5 points each but I've cooked the two packs together and bulked out with onions, peppers and mushrooms added herbs and a tin of tomatoes all for no extra points and made into 3 portions at just 3 points each!! :money: I bought bags of frozen sliced veg that I can use for things like this cos I can't eat all the veg I buy before it goes off which is money wasting. Am quite looking forward to it!

Sorry thats all got wheat in Penky :o

I got the summer sizzlers cookbook from WI after collecting stickers, has anyone got it? There's some nice recipes in it. If I ever make something I'll give you an update...

I have a pint of lemon and lime jelly in the fridge and will have for puddings this week with a scoop of LF ice cream and a squirt of sauce - 2 points total.

I'm going to have a bubble bath later and use one of many face packs that I never get round to using, light some candles and read a good chick flick while I turn into a prune.

Right so thats food for tomorrow done, gym bag packed for after work...hmm what now?

    Love Puds x

Well done Puds for getting back on track - and it wasn't too bad a WI at all!!

I've bought the Cook Smart books - the Family meals and Baking ones arrived this week and already we're working our way through them with our sticky page markers...what's the Summer Sizzlers one like?

I've had a minimal couple of weeks, 1lb off here and there, finally under 12st though (11st13 this morning!!). I've dropped another point and I'm down to 20 now.

Herein lies the problem, though - if 18 points is the absolute minimum, I'm going to be under 10st by the time I reach 18pts... IF I choose to go down to 18pts. I'm 5ft 9 and I haven't been 10 and a half stone since I was at university - and I looked terribly gaunt then. I think under 10st is too much, if I'm honest.
Is it possible that I've worked my points out wrong?

Thanks Indiegirl, I'm feeling really positive!

Summer Sizzlers booklet looks pretty good - lots of BBQ ideas and summery food really, only had a quick glance so far. I keep buying cook books but so far haven't cooked!! Oops.

It doesnt sound like you have your points wrong. I'm on 19 points at 10st 8 - I don't know what my goal is yet - possible to be able to fit into my housemates jeans :D which is going to be about 9st I think. I am 5' 5''. I have seen people on 16 and 17 points on the WW message boards because of this I have a feeling the minimum is 16??

Just had a white choc oaty bar and mullerlight banana and custard yogurt..mmmm

Cheese is one of the big things I really miss, but no, it's not worth wasting points on cheddar when you could use those points elsewhere!

I redid my points from the book and from the first page on here, and I'm right with 20 at the moment (it's my height that buys me points!). I'll never, ever get to 16! (gosh, if I did, I'd be 7st and anorexic). I think 10st is really the lowest I'd ever safely go to (and probably never will).

Really, my only goal is to be 10st something, whether it's 10st 13 or 10st 1 I won't care :-D I'm already fitting into jeans that my sister owns, and my original goal was to exceed my friend's weight when she did WW a couple of years ago - she's the same height as me and went from 15st to 12 2. I've exceeded that so I'm looking for a new target (my OH has an additional stone to lose so we're still WW-ing for the time being).

I'll ask one of my meeting-attending WW friends to bring her booklets in (I usually scan them and keep them to hand in the kitchen). That's my moneysaving tip!! ;-)
  • Well after a week of eating whatever I wanted on holiday I have put on one and a half, not so bad but still annoying, especially when the lady from work I go with has lost way more altogether than me, terrible really but I would like to keep up with her! Do you think I could lose that all in one week? Would be good to get back on track

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Mmmmm cheeeeeeese! I put 1 points worth on (just a sprinkle) which wasn't a lot but it was extra mature it was ok. I miss cheese :-(

Sian, 1.5lbs gain I think is pretty good after a holiday - i'm impressed! Stick to your points and indulge in some exercise and you can get that off next week. I have faith in you!

Guess I should go to bed and get off this darn laptop!!

    Night x

  • Thanks Puddings! That was really encouraging!
